An Unlucky Day
Zhang Xiang and I live in the same village and we also study in the same school. We are good friends. We usually go to school by bike together. On the morning of September 6, 2011, Zhang Xiang’s bike was broken, so I had to carry him at the back of my bike.
I was riding very fast when I came to the crossing. I didn’t notice that the traffic light had turned red, and a bus in front had stopped. My bike ran into the bus and fell down. Neither of us could get up. Just then a policeman came over, stopped a taxi and asked the driver to take us to a hospital. After being treated by the doctor, we went out of the hospital sadly. We missed the lessons that day.
What an unlucky day!Careless can be dangerous.
