1.Christmas is coming.Father Christmas goes from house to house with presents.圣誕節(jié)到了，圣誕老人挨家挨戶地給孩子們送禮物。

2.Mingminghasbeen waiting for him.Oh,here he comes！明明一直盼望著圣誕老人能到他這兒來(lái)。哇!圣誕老人真的來(lái)了。

3.Mingming gets a pair of leather shoes,“The same as those I throw away.”明明得到一雙皮鞋，說(shuō)道：“這鞋跟我扔掉的那雙一樣?！?/p>

4. “They are your favourites.I mend them and put some shoe cream.Look,how beautiful!”“這就是那雙你最喜歡的鞋，我縫補(bǔ)好了，擦了鞋油。瞧，多漂亮??！”

5.Mingming’s face is red.“Thank you,Father Christmas.”“You are welcome.Anything else to throw away?”明明紅著臉說(shuō)：“謝謝圣誕老人！”“不用謝，你還有要仍的東西嗎?”

6.Mingming is a little puzzled.Looking atthe old toys and pencil boxes,“No,”says he quietly.明明有點(diǎn)不解，他看了看那些舊玩具和舊文具盒，小聲地說(shuō)：“沒有了，沒有了?！?/p>

7. “I’ll give Qinqin a snow cap, ”says Father Christmas.“Is the one Qinqin throws away?”asks Mingming.“那我就給芹芹送風(fēng)雪帽去了?！笔フQ老人說(shuō)?！笆乔矍蹃G了的那頂風(fēng)雪帽嗎?”明明問(wèn)。

8. Father Christmas smiles and says,“Yes!They liked the presents at beginning,but after some time they would throw them away.”圣誕老人笑著說(shuō)道：“是啊！他們開始都喜歡這些禮物，后來(lái)卻又扔掉了。”

9. With that, Father Christmas leaves in the snow.After a short while,he has collected a big bag of old presents.說(shuō)完這些話，圣誕老人就冒著大學(xué)離開了。沒過(guò)多久，他就收集到了一大包舊禮物。

10.The next day,the children gettogetherand show each other the presents,they are the same as what the threw away,but newer and more beautiful.第二天，小朋友們聚到一起，相互展示自己的禮物。他們的禮物跟自己扔掉的東西一樣，只是更新更漂亮了。

11.Mingming comes to understand and tells the truth he found the day before.Everyone is surprised and understands why Father Christmas has countless presents.明明突然明白了，于是把昨晚發(fā)現(xiàn)的秘密說(shuō)出來(lái)，大家這才明白，圣誕老人為什么永遠(yuǎn)有送不完的禮物。

寓意

Thrift is not only a great virtue,but also a great revenue.節(jié)儉不僅是一大美德,而且是一大財(cái)源。
