SINOPEC’s Packaged Technology Project for Paraxylene Production Completed

The 30-kt/a PX demonstration unit jointly developed by SINOPEC Yangzi Petrochemical Company, SPEC and RIPP has implemented all test items after having successfully setting up its last wing — the adsorptive separation technology. Thereby SINOPEC has become a major petrochemical company capable of providing packaged aromatics manufacture technologies including engineering design, construction, fabrication of key equipment, and catalyst preparation to put an end to the aromatics package technology imports to China, making itself one of three global dominating chemical providers of aromatics package technology.
