This year I am determined to stick to my New Years resolutions. Over the years, my “things to do this year”have gotten easier and easier. The first promises I made in my diary, when I was around 16, were more like dreams than resolutions: “write a brilliant book”, “master several languages”, “buy a Porsche”, among many others. Now, as Ive gotten older (24!) Ive become a little more realistic. So, here they are, Simon Edward Smiths New Year resolutions: 1. Exercise more 2. Practice my Chinese more 3. Keep in touch with my family more. Basically, I want to do more!
