LibyaBuild 2013 was held from 19th to 23rd May 2013， in Tripoli International Exhibition Center. As the biggest construction and engineering exhibition in country， Libya Build enjoys extensive support from the government and international enterprise resources. It is also a UFI approved fair.

In 2012 there were 600 exhibitors in all， coming from more than 26 countries and marked an exhibition area of more than 17，000m2， and attracted more than 15，000 professional visitors. The Italian exhibition delegation came with 130 exhibitors and accounted for 20% of total exhibitors； Turkey followed with 954 exhibitors； France and Egypt came with 40 exhibitors respectively. There were 200 local exhibitors， some of which belonged to Libyan National Development Administration Center， which takes charge of two thirds of the countrys construction projects.

LibyaBuild2013 attracted 709 exhibitors from 27 countries， and 14 national delegation. Total exhibition area was 30，000m2. In the construction sector of the exhibition was 14 top companies from all over the world， including JCB， HYUNDAI，CAT，CASE，VOLOVO，LIEB HERR. Among the exhibitors， Turkish delegation was the biggest， followed by Italy.

This year after the civil war in Libya， Chinese delegation participated in the exhibition. There were over 40 exhibitors and an exhibition area of over 500m2. Many exhibitors signed deals at the exhibition and are keen to settle down. After the war， there is great need to rebuild the country， and it is expected that the domestic economy will rebound to a certain degree.
