Nanshan Aluminum Reached Strategic Cooperation with CSR Corporation Limited

As a key supplier of aluminum profiles and aluminum plate, sheet and trip products for CSR Corporation Limited, Nanshan Aluminum will join hands with CSR Corporation Limited to reach strategic cooperation. On January 5, Nanshan Aluminum signed strategic cooperation agreement with CSR Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd, both sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the aspects of product supply, market expansion, technology exchange, and capital cooperation.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, CSR Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd continues to support Nanshan Aluminum to develop into railway transport equipment train body large parts supplier of CSR Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. both sides will carry out technological cooperation in the R&D and application of light alloy material field, when CSR Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd is developing new models, under the same condition it will first select Nanshan Aluminum as key cooperation partner for alloy materials.

In the development of domestic market, both sides will take full advantage of the equipment manufacture advantage of CSR Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd and the influence of Nanshan Aluminum in the local area, jointly develop internal and external intercity railway transport, urban rail metro and tram markets in Yantai City, Jinan City, and Shandong Province. In the development of overseas market, on the basis of developing Hong Kong Metro, and Singapore Metro, both sides have strengthened cooperation, and jointly developed overseas business. For market orders obtained through cooperation between both sides, under the same condition the priority will be given to raw materials and components supplied by the other side.

Both sides will actively drive forward cooperation on the capital level, adopt joint venture or cooperation construction methods to construct production line, company setup, and joint project development methods to strengthen industrial cooperation. Nanshan Aluminum will adopt methods of equipment leasing, and investment in deep processing production lines to provide further services to CSR Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd, strengthen cooperation between both sides in technology and products; meanwhile, both sides will set up project company through joint venture, participate in the operation of railway transport general contracting projects in specific regions, and strengthen cooperation between both sides in industry.
