I have to say that you are not alone when having trouble communicating with parents. Almost everybody had it when they are in the adolescence. Therefore， its a common problem shared by many， whose cause lies in what they call “generation gap”.

As for my advice to you， first of all， dont hide your feelings. You can make it a routine to share your thoughts with your parents. Secondly， convince them that you have tried your best. Its not their fault to place too high expectation on their child. I believe they will be satisfied with you so long as they know you have tried your best to live up to their standards.
