【Abstract】This paper is a translation case analysis based on Skopos Theory.This paper choose President Xis New Year congratulations of 2015 as analysis text and gives the case analysis.This paper focuses on translating the text based on Skopos Theory.

analysis The aim of the source text is to tell us what and how we should do in the future.The independent sentence is more powerful than clauses.Just as Jeremy Munday has said “A translatum （or TT） is determined by its skopos.（ Jeremy Munday.2010：80）
