本刊2015年7月號(hào)在創(chuàng)刊十周年之際發(fā)起的主題為“我和英語有個(gè)故事”的全國中學(xué)生英語征文大賽現(xiàn)已圓滿落幕！從本期開始，我們將陸續(xù)刊登部分獲獎(jiǎng)作文及北京新東方學(xué)校優(yōu)能中學(xué)老師的相應(yīng)精彩點(diǎn)評(píng)，以饗大家。本期先來分享此次征文大賽一等獎(jiǎng)的獲獎(jiǎng)文章。

Dear English

Dear English：

The fog hung over the forest and cracks of sunlight filtered through the leaves.Your figure loomed up out of the mist， so beautiful but also untouchable. Maybe you can't believe it， but it's actually the first impression you left on me.

Like many students， l used you just as a tool to get high marks. I spent day and night reciting the notes and the words on the textbooks. This dull and repetitive work really destroyed the first impression. For me， you were just an annoying subject.

Until one day， I met TEENS. Though the original purpose was also for the exams， but it did let me know that there was a colorful world out of my own small world， which was full of multiple-choice questions. There I met you again， and you smiled at dawn， still innocent and beautiful as first sight， but not untouchable. You whispered in my ears， "I've been waiting for you for ages."

Then we spent the whole afternoon in my room putting on headphones， singing out of tune loudly. And I always recall the days when we watched movies， with our mouths full of food. You also brought me to Jane Eyre's world. There we sympathized with her childhood， felt excited when she met Mr. Rochester and listened to her oath of ardor， deeply affected.

It takes us seven years from strange to familiar， from hating to appreciating， from speaking few words to talking a lot. In this letter， plucking up all my courage， I promise you I'll love you forever， always with a sincere heart， never cheat you， forget you or hurt you. Will you be my lover， always stand by my side， trust me， encourage me， comfort me and never abandon me？

There are still many things I want to experience with you， like being a volunteer at 2022 Olympic Winter Games， taking you to some remote villages to introduce you to the children there. Then we will get older and older. Maybe one day， we will nod by the fire， dream of the soft look and revive our youth.

開篇第一句別具匠心，在and所連接的兩個(gè)并列句中，hang over （掛在……之上；懸浮在……之上）和filter （透過；滲入）使用得十分恰當(dāng)，形象地描繪出了一幅朦朧而美麗的畫面（森林被迷霧所籠罩，陽光從樹葉之間透了過來），吸引讀者繼續(xù)往下讀。不過，用crack （裂縫，裂口；噼啪聲，爆裂聲）一詞來修飾sunlight不太妥當(dāng)，建議刪去cracks of或?qū)⑵涮鎿Q為beams of 。

該句用詞十分精妙，loom （up）表示“隱約地出現(xiàn)；赫然聳現(xiàn)”，后面接的兩個(gè)形容詞作狀語修飾your figure。不過，用but also作為連接詞雖然不錯(cuò)，但若將其“升級(jí)”為while，把逗號(hào)后的部分改為so beautiful while untouchable，表達(dá)會(huì)更為出彩。

這句話過于平鋪直敘，中式思維較為明顯，若將use ... as ... 替換成regard ... as ...則會(huì)更為地道。

此句結(jié)構(gòu)清晰，是一個(gè)難得的長難句，但卻存在著一個(gè)很明顯的錯(cuò)誤，即在英文中though和but這兩個(gè)單詞不能同時(shí)出現(xiàn)在一句話中。把but去掉之后，這個(gè)句子的結(jié)構(gòu)就包含了一個(gè)狀語從句、一個(gè)賓語從句和一個(gè)非限制性定語從句，從中可以看出作者對(duì)英語復(fù)合句掌握得較好。

作者在此應(yīng)該想要表達(dá)的是“就像初次見面時(shí)那樣”，可將as first sight改為just as you were when we first met。

這兩句話運(yùn)用擬人手法，將英語比喻成了作者的一位朋友，不過，和英語這位朋友“戴著耳機(jī)一起唱歌”“口中塞滿食物”等不免讓人讀來覺得有些奇怪，可將其刪除或?qū)ζ湓僮鲞M(jìn)一步的修改。若能結(jié)合英語本身的特點(diǎn)來進(jìn)行比喻會(huì)更易令人信服。

此句運(yùn)用了排比的手法，令人眼前一亮，形象地展現(xiàn)出了作者與英語之間關(guān)系的演變，與征文主題“我和英語有個(gè)故事”緊密貼合。美中不足的是介詞from和to后不能直接跟形容詞strange和familiar，可改為from being total strangers to best friends。

此句的亮點(diǎn)在于所舉的兩個(gè)例子既聯(lián)系了實(shí)際，又比較特別，讓我們看到了作者那顆金子般的心，也讓我們體會(huì)到英語的確可以在生活中發(fā)揮非常重要的作用。

和開頭一樣，文章結(jié)尾也給讀者描繪了一幅形象的畫面，正如《當(dāng)你老了》這首歌中所唱的那樣，等作者老了，她還會(huì)與英語為伴，并與英語一起在爐火旁打盹，回憶青春。

這篇文章的新穎之處在于它采用與英語對(duì)話的形式來記敘自己和英語之間的故事，令人眼前一亮。作者在開篇就描繪了自己和英語初次相遇時(shí)那幅充滿意境的畫面，也借此展現(xiàn)了自己的英文功底。

在正文部分，作者開始講述自己與英語的故事，真實(shí)可感，用詞準(zhǔn)確，語法錯(cuò)誤少，且善于運(yùn)用定語從句、狀語從句等復(fù)合句以及長短句的搭配來豐富文章的句式。此外，作者不僅談到了TEENS對(duì)自己英語學(xué)習(xí)的促進(jìn)作用，也帶我們走進(jìn)了簡·愛的世界，文末還提及自己想要擔(dān)任2022年冬季奧運(yùn)會(huì)志愿者，并想讓偏遠(yuǎn)村莊的孩子們也能接觸到英語，內(nèi)容豐富且感人。結(jié)尾部分和開頭基調(diào)一致，再次描繪了一幅形象的畫面，同時(shí)也使文章的結(jié)構(gòu)顯得更加完整，是一篇難得的佳作。
