在很多人眼中，導(dǎo)演大都高深莫測，不茍言笑，讓人敬而遠(yuǎn)之。導(dǎo)演果真都是如此嗎？為了揭開導(dǎo)演的神秘面紗，《007：幽靈黨》導(dǎo)演Sam Mendes在受邀擔(dān)當(dāng)《帝國》雜志客座編輯時采訪了眾多好萊塢大牌導(dǎo)演，向我們展示了導(dǎo)演們的幽默和詼諧。

Have you ever walked off a set in a temper？

Steven Spielberg： I've never walked off a set before and I can't imagine why I would.

Ang Lee： I only Hulked2） out once.

Alfonso Cuarón： Yes， only to come back feeling very stupid.

Paul Greengrass： Once， when I couldn't work out how to shoot an eight-handed dialogue scene in the desert in the middle of the night. After I'd banged my head against a Humvee for ten minutes trying to work it out， I was fine and carried on！

Rob Marshall： It's not even a possibility.

Christopher Nolan： I once tried， but nobody seemed to notice， so I came back.

George Clooney： No. The reason is because eventually you have to walk back on， and that would be too humiliating3）.

Ang Lee： To actors， "Can you close the gap between sentences？"

Joe Wright： "Beautiful. One more."

Clooney： "What time is lunch？"

Joss Whedon （whiny4） voice）： "Come on， guys， I'm the leader of a whole movie！" When I want people to fear and respect me. Not wildly5） effective.

Alexander Payne： To the actors， "Great， now faster." To the crew members， "If this were easy， I would have hired a relative."

Spielberg： "Cut." "That was brilliant." "Once more！"

Sofia Coppola： "Okay， great， let's do it again."

Marshall： "Cut. That was great."

Greengrass： "Fuck the script/lighting/extras6） etc.， let's shoot！"

What are your on-set rules for the crew， if any？

David Fincher： We are not here to witness， but to participate.

Nolan： No phones. No phones. No phones.

Roger Michell： Think ahead. Be kind. Skip lunch. Go home early.

Susanne Bier： No smoking. No small-talk7）. Always deliver bad news with a smile and a joke. Also， no smoking.

Marshall： Come to me directly if there's a problem. That's what I'm here for.

Clooney： If anybody has a good idea， speak up.

Ang Lee： I just want it to be quiet and focused.

Greengrass： Speak your mind.

Payne： No "rules". What are you， British or something？ I guess I'm too nice ... No wonder people take advantage of me.

What's your best-ever day on set？

Clooney： Watching David Strathairn do a three-page monologue8） in one take on Good Night， and Good Luck.

Spielberg： My best day on set is just about every day.

Marshall： The first day working with an actor. Especially one I've always admired. And I've been lucky to work with so many ...

Michell： Last day of shoot.

Bier： When a scene you've worried about turns out amazingly.

Fincher： When the plan goes totally awry9）， and something amazing happens ...

Ang Lee： There were many days， but off the top of my head， one day on Brokeback Mountain， shooting the scene where Ennis visits Jack's parents.

Coppola： When Bill Murray is there.

Nolan： The last.

2. 你在片場最常說的是哪句話？

李安：對演員會說，“每句臺詞之間的間隔能短一些嗎？”

喬·賴特：“好極了，再來一條?！?/p>

克魯尼：“什么時候吃午飯？”

喬斯·韋登（暴躁地說）：“快點兒，伙計們，這部電影我說了算！”當(dāng)我想讓大家對我感到敬畏時會這么說，不過不是很管用。

大衛(wèi)·芬奇：咱們不是來這兒參觀的，而是來參與的。

諾蘭：不準(zhǔn)打電話。不準(zhǔn)打電話。不準(zhǔn)打電話。

羅杰·米歇爾：提前想好，態(tài)度友善，不吃午飯，早點回家。

蘇珊娜·比爾：不許抽煙，不許聊天。永遠(yuǎn)把壞消息當(dāng)成笑話一樣講出來并一直面帶微笑。還有，不許抽煙。

馬歇爾：有問題直接來找我。這就是我在這兒的原因。

克魯尼：如果誰有好的想法，大聲說出來。

李安：我只希望大家安靜，聚精會神。

格林格拉斯：有話直說。

佩恩：沒有“規(guī)矩”。你以為自己是什么人，英國人還是什么？估計是我人太好了……怪不得大家總是捉弄我。

4. 你在片場過得最愉快的是哪一天？

克魯尼：看大衛(wèi)·斯特雷澤恩（編注：美國著名演員）拍《晚安，好運》中一段長達(dá)三頁的獨白一條就過時。

斯皮爾伯格：在片場的每一天幾乎都是我過得最好的一天。

馬歇爾：與某位演員，特別是我一直欣賞的演員初次合作的那一天。很幸運，我跟很多這樣的演員合作過……

米歇爾：殺青那天。

比爾：你一直擔(dān)心的一場戲結(jié)果拍得非常精彩的時候。

芬奇：當(dāng)拍攝計劃完全亂了套，結(jié)果卻出乎意料時……

李安：有很多這樣的日子，不過我現(xiàn)在立刻能想到的是那天在拍攝《斷背山》中恩尼斯拜訪杰克父母那場戲。
