1. Introduction

From the initial concept of "structural design can be adapted to facilitate and reduce the use of cost changes" to the present "green building" a new realm,People explored a lot, currently, the Green Building is very popular and can be found in most places in the world.

The Engineer and Architect, by the relationships which they create and they wake profound echoes in us, they give us the measure of an order which we feel to be in accordance with that of our world. It determines all kinds of activities of our minds and hearts ;at this time we felt the beauty of design.

The Reason f Sustainability

As we all know,all mankind are facing common crisis:climate change, air pollution and resource shortage. All this led to the growing concern about the environment.Construction activity? consumes a large amount of resources and ?make a lot of environmental pollutants at the same time. Developing countries should take a environment route while maintaining the high quality of life.

2. To realize sustainable Design

Due to theSustainable Designinvolves?the?environmental quality ,issues related to land use and community planning are also of primary importance. In fact , Sustainable Designdoesn't have to cost a lot . As a matter of a fact, some simple things can realize the sustainable design. Things go as follows:

(1) Development of flexible design to enhance the longevity of the building

(2) Use natural strategies to protect and recycling of water resources

(3) Plan for recycling in the?process of using construction, demolition and Occupancy

Design Brief

This is a horizontal skyscraper,it contains conference center, hotel and offices.China'slargest real estate listed company is here.To design a series of architectural modeling to meet the requirements of complex functions in the building,Designers think different functional area is decorated in a large building in the body is more reasonable. This is a revolutionary innovation. It put all the various program into a grander image in this complexbuilding. Through the flexible landscape space, we can directly overlooking the sea from the level of the building, to feel the future.

Building energy efficiency and sustainable design

As the 21st century, the model of sustainable architecture in the tropics,Vanke centerincorporatesnew technologyin the designto realize the sustainabledevelopment.This group of floating buildings create a flexible landscape space at the bottom of the building. Moveable screens made of special composites prevent the construction material of glass by the negative impact of the sun and the wind blowing.The use of solar, geothermal, refrigeration and other renewable resources is a key problem of exploration is designed in this project.

(2)Chateau de Sedan

Design Brief

Chateau de Sedancovers an area of about 1.5ha, lies on the high slope at the foot of the West mountain of the suburb in Beijing. The complex plane adopted the manner of Siheyuan, a traditional Chinese housetype of?courtyard. Taking thetwo big functions to live and management requirements into consideration,the architect designer put the living part to the south, and put the lobby on the south of the living part.The sitting room, multi-function hall and other non-residential public part are set on the east.Not only ensure the living part meets the demand of heating daylighting, but also provides a good view of the landscape for the public space.

Sustainable Construction Design and Energy Conservation

The green design of constructions?includes extensive connotation and broad content.The basic aim of green design can be summarized as : Reduce waste, and to create a healthy and effective environment .The design of Chcteau de Sedan is performed the green design principles.

Designers believe that the amount of heat preservation and heat insulation material and K-value should not be recognized as the only standard of energy conservation and environmental protection. Implementation of green building cannot only ?rely on construction technology. During residential design process, we must consider the overall layout of buildings ,combine with the local ecological environment and improve the occasion to create a good living environment in harmony with nature.

Because of the limitation of no supplement of natural gas pipeline, under the condition of existing, the best way to heating?hot water and winter heating can only rely on the power?of electricity. A lot of power consumption means high heating costs. In order to solve this problem,projects have adopted advanced energy-saving assembled floor heating device to replace the traditional facilities. In this way, it improves the thermal efficiency, andreduces the operation cost. All these could simplify the installation process and reduces the maintenance cost.

4. conclusion

Sustainable building design is a essentially way to makethe built environment more human in nature.Earlyarchitects of modern idea?rarely think that cultural and economic problems will affect the environment.In the process of the sustainable future, we not only get the visible benefits, at the same time by the invisible benefits, such as a healthy living environment, more sunlight.People feel better in the sustainable building, thus enhance their sense of peace and improve the working efficiency.

In the future of a century, the global temperatures are likely to continue rising,?designers need to have a better understanding of the performance of the building,to ensure that the passive and low energy consumption building continues to effectively meet the needs of users.
