2019年第七屆世界軍人運動會將在武漢舉行

The 7th International Military Sports Council （CISM） Military World Games will be hosted from Oct. 18 to 27， 2019 in Wuhan， capital city of central Chinas Hubei Province. The games are expected to attract around 8000 participants from more than 100 countries and regions. The games will be an international event with great significance and far-reaching influence and it will also be an opportunity for foreign military personnel to learn more about China and its military.

第七屆世界軍人運動會將于2019年10月18日至27日在中國中部的湖北省省會城市武漢舉行。本屆運動會預(yù)計會吸引來自100多個國家和地區(qū)的8000多名參賽者。這將是一個意義重大、影響深遠(yuǎn)的國際盛會，也是外國軍事人員進(jìn)一步了解中國及其軍隊的機會。

2019年亞足聯(lián)亞洲杯

The 2019 AFC Asian Cup will be the 17th edition of the AFC Asian Cup， the quadrennial international mens football championship of Asia organized by the Asian Football Confederation （AFC）. It will be held in the United Arab Emirates from January 5 to February 1， 2019.

亞洲杯是亞足聯(lián)主辦的亞洲四年一度的國際男子足球錦標(biāo)賽。2019年亞足聯(lián)亞洲杯是亞足聯(lián)亞洲杯的第17屆，將于2019年1月5日至2月1日在阿拉伯聯(lián)合酋長國舉行。

The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup will be the 18th tournament of the FIBA Basketball World Cup for mens national basketball teams. The tournament will be hosted in China. Chinas capital Beijing， Shanghai， Shenzhen， Guangzhou， Foshan， Suzhou， Wuhan and Donguan are the eight cities China has named to host the World Cup.

2019年國際籃聯(lián)籃球世界杯是第18屆國家男子籃球隊的世界杯。比賽將由中國舉辦。中國已經(jīng)宣布該屆世界杯將由首都北京、上海、深圳、廣州、佛山、蘇州、武漢和東莞八個城市舉辦。

世界最長的跨海大橋——港珠澳大橋

The launching ceremony of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge was held on Oct 23， 2018. The 55 km-long bridge connects Chinas Hong Kong Special Administrative Region （SAR）， Zhuhai city and Macao SAR. It consists of bridges， tunnels and artificial islands. The drive from Hong Kong to Zhuhai or Macao used to be three hours but is now only 45 minutes. It is the longest， most costly and difficult sea-crossing bridge project in Chinas construction history. The bridge cost over 100 billion yuan and should last for at least 120 years. It can resist even super typhoons.

香港珠海澳門大橋開通儀式于2018年10月23日舉行。這座55公里長的大橋連接了中國香港特別行政區(qū)、珠海市和澳門特別行政區(qū)。它由橋梁、隧道和人工島組成。過去從香港到珠海或澳門的車程約3小時，但現(xiàn)在只需45分鐘。它是中國建設(shè)史上最長、造價最高、難度最大的跨海大橋工程。這座橋造價超過1000億元，可以使用至少120年。它甚至可以抵抗超強臺風(fēng)。

西安當(dāng)選2019年“東亞文化之都”

Xian was honored as the “2019 City of Culture in East Asia” and received a certificate at the China-Japan-South Korea Cultural Ministers Meeting held on Aug 30， 2018 in Harbin. In 2019， the Department of Culture will continue to support Xian in this regard and will carry out various cultural activities， encouraging citizens to participate in regional cultural cooperation in East Asia and promote urban cultural construction and vitality.

電影《一條狗的回家路》將于2019年1月11日在美國上映

The movie is based on the book by W. Bruce Cameron， the author of A Dogs Purpose. It tells the heartwarming adventure of Bella， a dog who embarks on a 400-mile journey home after she is separated from her beloved human.
