1. What time do you go to school？

你什么時候去上學？

（1）what time意為“什么時候，幾點”，常用來對具體的時間提問，可以用when替換。如：

—What time does Jim go to bed？

吉姆什么時候睡覺？

—He goes to bed at ten oclock.

他十點鐘睡覺。

詢問“幾點鐘”的兩種表達方法：

What time is it？和Whats the time？

（2）time un. 時間

It will take some time to learn English well.

學好英語需要一段時間。

2. get dressed

穿上衣服

（1）get link v. 變得，成為

The food is getting cold.

食物要涼了。

（2）dress v. 穿衣服

搭配：be dressed in 穿著……衣服

She is dressed in white today.

她今天身穿白色衣服。

① dress 的其他搭配

dress oneself 穿衣，打扮

dress sb 給某人穿衣服

dress up 化妝，打扮

Could you please dress the children for me？

你能替我給孩子們穿衣服嗎？

② dress n. 連衣裙，禮服

She is wearing a beautiful dress.

她穿著一條漂亮的連衣裙。

3. I never get up so early.

我從來不那么早起。

（1）never adv. 意為“從未，決不”，反義詞：always（總是）。

We can say “John Brown” or “Mr Brown”， but we can never say “Mr John”.

我們可以說“約翰·布朗”或“布朗先生”，但我們從不說“約翰先生”。

其他表示“頻率”的副詞

always 總是 seldom 很少 often 經(jīng)常 hardly 幾乎不

（2）early adv. & adj. 早（的）

4. When do you go to work？

你什么時候去工作呢？

work v. & n. 工作

He works at a radio station.

他在一家電臺工作。

比較：job和work

job是一個可數(shù)名詞，常用于表示某一具體的工作崗位；work是不可數(shù)名詞，指需要花費體力或腦力的工作，泛指“工作”這一概念。如：

I find a job as a waiter.

我找了一份當服務員的工作。

I have too much work to do this afternoon.

今天下午我有很多工作（事情）要做。

what time與when的區(qū)別

兩者都可以對時間進行提問，表示“什么時候”。

（1）what time 用來詢問具體的時間點；when 既可以用來詢問具體的時間點；還可以用來詢問時間段。

What time/When do you usually go to school？

你通常什么時候去上學？

（2）向?qū)Ψ皆儐柧唧w的時間時，即幾點幾分，只能用what time，不能用when。

What time is it？

幾點了？

（3）詢問年份、月份、日期時，只能用when，不能用what time。

When is the Music Festival？

音樂節(jié)是什么時候？

頻度副詞always，usually，sometimes和never

always 是頻度最大的詞，意為“總是；永遠”；usually 意為“通?！?，即很少有例外，頻度僅次于always；sometimes 意為“有時”；never 意為“從不”。

頻度副詞一般放在實義動詞之前，be動詞、助動詞或情態(tài)動詞之后。

We never eat junk food.

我們從不吃垃圾食品。

Lucy is sometimes very busy.

露西有時很忙。

時刻的表達法：

在英語中，表達“幾點幾分”有兩種方法：順讀法和逆讀法。

（1）順讀法：先說點后說分，其結(jié)構(gòu)是“點 + 分”。

8：15 eight fifteen 10：30 ten thirty

2：53 two fifty-three

注意：整點數(shù)可用“基數(shù)詞 + oclock”表示。如：

7：00 seven oclock

（2）逆讀法：借助past或to，先說分后說點，其結(jié)構(gòu)是“分 + past/to + 點”。

①當分鐘數(shù)不超過30分鐘（包括30分）時，用介詞past，表示“幾點過幾分”，其結(jié)構(gòu)是“分 + past + 點”。

8：03 three past eight 9：30 half/thirty past nine

②當分鐘數(shù)大于30分鐘時，用介詞to，表示“幾點差幾分”，其結(jié)構(gòu)是“差的分鐘數(shù) + to + 下一個時間點”。

11：50 ten to twelve 5：59 one to six

2. In the evening， I either watch TV or play computer

games.

在晚上，我要么看電視，要么玩電腦游戲。

（1）either

① adj.（二者中的）任何一個的，（二者間的）每一個的

You can eat either half the cake.

這塊蛋糕你吃哪一半都可以。

② pron.（二者中的）任何一方，各方

Either of you must go.

你們兩人中有一人非去不可。

注意：either of + 名詞或代詞的復數(shù)作主語，謂語動詞一般用單數(shù)。

③ adv. 也（用于否定句）

If you dont go， Ill not go， either.

如果你不去，我也不去。

（2）either... or... 意為“要么……要么……；或者……或者……”，連接兩個并列的成分。

Either he or I am right.

要么是他對，要么是我對。

Either come in or go out.

要么進來，要么出去。

3. At twelve， she eats lots of fruit and vegetables for

lunch.

十二點時，她午飯吃了很多水果和蔬菜。

lot pron. 大量；許多

He eats lots of bread for breakfast.

lots of = a lot of 許多；大量的

I have a lot of （= lots of ） homework today.
