三、餐飲禮儀
1.穿著得體,不大聲喧嘩。西方人去參觀或吃飯,往往比較注意自己的儀表,因?yàn)檫@些地方被認(rèn)為是正式的社交場(chǎng)合。所以,一般正式的飯局穿著都比較正式。自己家人或朋友吃飯當(dāng)然也比較隨意,但是不能隨便。穿著一定要整潔,不可太過(guò)外露。西方的飯店、咖啡館環(huán)境幽雅,一般都有背景音樂(lè)播放。顧客說(shuō)話聲音很小,只有談話者雙方聽(tīng)到即可。因此,我們?nèi)?guó)外參觀或吃飯,一定要注意衣著整潔,輕聲說(shuō)話。
2.在正餐就座之前,男士們要站在椅子后面,直到女士們就座。
3.在一些家庭中,飯前要做祈禱或“祝?!?。客人可以加入或保持沉默。
4.餐巾放在大腿上。在比較正式的場(chǎng)合,客人要等主人將餐巾放在膝蓋上自己再放餐巾。
5.在比較正式的場(chǎng)合,所有用餐者都到齊才能開(kāi)飯。并且要等到主人拿起叉子或勺子后才開(kāi)始進(jìn)餐。
6.餐具輕拿輕放。吃西餐時(shí),不要讓刀、叉與盆、碟相碰發(fā)出響聲。吃飯、喝湯時(shí)最好也不要發(fā)出聲音。如果不習(xí)慣使用刀、叉,可以要求招待為你換雙筷子。國(guó)外的餐廳中一般都為顧客準(zhǔn)備了筷子,比較周到。特別注意,在英美國(guó)家,不可以用自己的筷子為別人添菜,更不應(yīng)把自己盤(pán)子里的菜分給別人,除非你還沒(méi)有動(dòng)過(guò)。
7.如果你很難用叉子拿到食物,那么用一小塊面包或小刀來(lái)幫助。千萬(wàn)不要用手指。
8.只能稱(chēng)贊餐桌上的食物美味,切不可說(shuō)餐桌上的食物不好。
9.去洗手間時(shí),只說(shuō)“Excuse me”或“Excuse me, I'll be right back.”,而“I am going to the restroom.”是千萬(wàn)不能說(shuō)的。
10.當(dāng)你吃完飯后,把所有用過(guò)的餐具一起放在盤(pán)子的右邊,叉子向上。這樣服務(wù)員就知道你吃完了。不要把舊餐具放在桌子上。
11.當(dāng)你暫時(shí)離開(kāi)時(shí),把餐巾放在椅子上。飯后離開(kāi)餐桌時(shí),把用過(guò)的餐巾松弛地放在餐盤(pán)左邊的桌子上。
12.結(jié)賬時(shí)要付小費(fèi)。在美國(guó)的大多餐館,客人吃完飯是要付小費(fèi)的。一般情況下,小費(fèi)是其餐費(fèi)的 15%左右。給小費(fèi)時(shí)要注意,一般是將小費(fèi)放入收款盤(pán)中,而不是直接遞到招待手中,這樣顯得不尊重對(duì)方。另外,給小費(fèi)時(shí),說(shuō)話要客氣,不能說(shuō)“Here is the tip.”,只說(shuō)
“Here is the bill, keep the change, please.”就行了。
四、餐館常用對(duì)話
Dialogue 1 現(xiàn)場(chǎng)預(yù)定
WAITER: Good evening, sir. My pleasure to serve you. Do you have a reservation?
晚上好,先生,很樂(lè)意為您服務(wù)。請(qǐng)問(wèn)您訂位了嗎?
CUSTOMER: No, I am afraid we don’t.
沒(méi)有。
WAITER: I'm sorry. The restaurant is full now. You have to wait for about half an hour. Would you mind having a drink at the lounge until a table is available?
很抱歉,餐廳已經(jīng)滿(mǎn)座了。大約要等30分鐘才會(huì)有空桌。你們介意在休息室喝點(diǎn)東西直至有空桌嗎?
CUSTOMER: No,thanks. We'll come back later. May I reserve a table for two?
不用了,謝謝。我們等一會(huì)兒再來(lái)。請(qǐng)?zhí)嫖覀冾A(yù)定一張二人桌,可以嗎?
WAITER: Yes, of course. May I have your name and you telephone number, sir?
當(dāng)然可以。請(qǐng)問(wèn)先生貴姓?可以留個(gè)聯(lián)系方式嗎?
CUSTOMER: James. By the way. Can we have a table by the window?
詹姆斯。勞駕,我們可以要一張靠近窗口的桌子嗎?
WAITER: We'll try to arrange it but I can't guarantee, sir.

CUSTOMER: That's fine.

Dialogue 2 餐廳早餐
WAITER: Good morning. What can I do for you, sir?

CUSTOMER: What do you have this morning?

WAITER: Fruit juice, cakes and refreshments, and everything.
果汁、糕點(diǎn)、各種茶點(diǎn)等等,應(yīng)有盡有。
CUSTOMER: I'd like to have a glass of tomato juice, please.
請(qǐng)給我來(lái)一杯西紅柿汁。
WAITER: Any cereal, sir?
要來(lái)點(diǎn)谷類(lèi)食品嗎,先生?
CUSTOMER: Yes, a dish of cream of wheat.

WAITER: And eggs?

CUSTOMER 1: Can we see the menu, please?
