線上,通過(guò)Calsee平臺(tái),參展商坐在國(guó)內(nèi)的辦公室的電腦屏幕前,與千里之外展會(huì)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)的客商逐一通過(guò)音視頻無(wú)障礙溝通。展臺(tái)前配有3臺(tái)終端設(shè)備,每一個(gè)屏幕都鏈接著一個(gè)千里之外的專業(yè)團(tuán)隊(duì),隨時(shí)等待與展會(huì)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)的客戶交流。同時(shí),系統(tǒng)視頻采集的回溯功能,將全天的溝通內(nèi)容進(jìn)行完整梳理。

3月10日,UFI首次發(fā)布了新冠肺炎疫情對(duì)全球展覽業(yè)經(jīng)濟(jì)影響的數(shù)據(jù),以反映展會(huì)的延期和取消對(duì)參展企業(yè)以及世界各地展覽業(yè)所帶來(lái)的影響。UFI董事總經(jīng)理兼首席執(zhí)行官賀庭凱表示:“在全球范圍內(nèi),最近幾周有500多場(chǎng)貿(mào)易展覽無(wú)法如期舉行,延期或取消展覽的影響正在對(duì)整個(gè)展覽行業(yè)造成越來(lái)越大的連鎖反應(yīng)?!?/p>
展覽業(yè)平均每月創(chuàng)造全球經(jīng)濟(jì)總產(chǎn)值229億歐元 (合262億美元),創(chuàng)造超過(guò)27萬(wàn)個(gè)全職的就業(yè)機(jī)會(huì)。目前展會(huì)取消或延期造成的經(jīng)濟(jì)損失達(dá)165億美元。首當(dāng)其沖的是亞太地區(qū),其經(jīng)濟(jì)損失已經(jīng)超過(guò)96億美元。在歐洲,隨著越來(lái)越多的展覽被迫延期或取消,其經(jīng)濟(jì)影響已經(jīng)達(dá)到66億美元。而其它地區(qū)的經(jīng)濟(jì)影響也正在估算中。
UFI releases first global assessment of the economic impact that COVID-19 is having on trade shows and exhibitions
On 10 March 2020, UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, is releasing the first global numbers that reflect the impact that trade show postponements and cancellations are having for both the exhibiting companies as well as for the trade show industry around the world. “Globally, the fact that more than 500 trade shows have not taken place in recent weeks is creating an escalating ripple effect for whole industries”, says Kai Hattendorf, UFI Managing Director/CEO.
底特律TCF中心更新安保系統(tǒng)
2月底,底特律的TCF中心全面升級(jí)了安保系統(tǒng),以確保會(huì)展中心客戶和訪客使用到最先進(jìn)和完備的安保系統(tǒng)。 TCF中心總經(jīng)理Claude Molinari表示:“ TCF中心安全部門一直在與地方、聯(lián)邦、國(guó)際執(zhí)法機(jī)構(gòu)合作,為會(huì)展活動(dòng)參與者提供安全保障?!?為了改進(jìn)TCF中心的安保流程,會(huì)展中心對(duì)安保部門的各個(gè)方面進(jìn)行了增強(qiáng)和重組。 內(nèi)部安保人員將擴(kuò)展到三個(gè)班次,每個(gè)班次都有專門負(fù)責(zé)單場(chǎng)會(huì)展活動(dòng)的主管人員。此外,已創(chuàng)建了一個(gè)全新的調(diào)度指揮中心。
TCF Center updates security protocol
Detroits TCF Center has reorganised its security services to assure customers and visitors of the most advanced and extensive protocols designed to keep events safe. “TCF Center security is constantly working with local, state, federal and international law enforcement agencies to provide safe and peaceful opportunities for events and visitors in the venue,” said Claude Molinari, general manager TCF Center/ ASM Global. To improve the organisation of the TCF Center security operations, several aspects of the department have been enhanced and reorganised. Scheduling of in-house security staff has been expanded to three shifts.
