Abstract:Interactive teaching aims at inspiring students enthusiasm in the English class. Teachers should arrange the classroom activities properly according to the features of teaching materials and students. Interactive teaching approach creates an equal atmosphere and produces good resonance between teaching and learning also stimulates English learning.

1. Introduction
The new course standard emphasizes the process of English teaching cant be simply seen as the static progress of teaching and learning,but the two-way interactive process of the mutual communication and influence between teachers and students,students and students. Besides,the new course standard also stresses the importance of the students participation in the interactive class.
The aim of this study is to improve language learning effect by currying out the student-centered teaching principle:keep the balance of students language import and export and realize the goal of teaching students how to use language.
2. Overview of interactive teaching
Rivers treats interaction as the key to language teaching for communication.,Rivers tells us that students achieve ability in using a language when their attention focused on conveying and receiving messages in her book Interactive Language Teaching(Rivers 1987). Interaction is a kind of ability. That is,informational messages are both important to speaker and listener in a situation.
3. Approaches of interactive teaching
3.1 Creating a harmonious learning atmosphere
In the classroom,teachers should try hard to create an equal,full of happy and harmonious class atmosphere;realize equal quality of teachers and students,soul and value;exercise every students intelligence and talents,develop their potential power,cleverly design the interaction stage of many levels and points for students. Then teachers make the English classroom become into a communication place between teachers and students,students and students.
3.2 Group work
Group work is often considered an essential feature of communicative language teaching(Brumfit 1984). A number of studies have compared the interaction in teacher-centered lessons with that take place in group work. A report from Long,Adams,Mclean,and Castanos(1976)shows that students working in groups can produce a larger quantity of language and also better quality language than students in a teacher-fronted classroom.
4. Conclusion
The application of English interactive teaching broadens the teaching space and time. The students oral English can be improved a lot by classroom interaction,and the mute English transforms into vivid and active English. Students have more interests in learning English,thus the process of English study becomes easier and more effective. At the same time,interactive teaching enhances students the confidence of learning English.
