Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office Attending the Opening Ceremony of Global Center for Mekong Studies （GCMS） Think Tank Forum via Video Link

On December 10th， 2021， Global Center for Mekong Studies （GCMS） Think Tank Forum took place online， co-hosted by GCMS China and GCMS Myanmar. It was themed Five Years of Lancang-Mekong Cooperation （LMC）： Progress， Experience， and Prospects. Gathering online， think tank experts from LMC countries discussed the progress and experience during the past five years of LMC and looked into the new directions and opportunities of future development.

The Forum was moderated by Rong Ying， Vice President of China Institute of International Studies and Director of GCMS China， and was attended and addressed by U Wynn Lwin， Acting Chair of Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies; Wang Wen， Director General of Chongqing Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and Ji Lingpeng， Deputy National Coordinator of LMC China Secretariat.

Wang Wen said that， in recent years， Chongqing has stepped up efforts to partake in the LMC mechanism and actively explored new ways to synergize LMC and the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor （ILSTC）. Progress has been made in all-round practical cooperation at the sub-national level with Mekong Countries. Chongqing is willing to participate in dialogues and strengthen communications with GCMS experts， making joint contributions to a greater synergy between the LMC and ILSTC.

2021年12月10日，由全球湄公河研究中心（中國中心）和緬甸中心聯(lián)合主辦的全球湄公河研究中心智庫論壇在線上舉行。以“瀾湄合作五周年：成就、經(jīng)驗(yàn)及未來方向”為主題，來自瀾湄國家的智庫專家相聚“云”端，熱議瀾湄合作五周年的成就與經(jīng)驗(yàn)，展望未來發(fā)展新方向和新機(jī)遇。

論壇由中國國際問題研究院副院長、全球湄公河研究中心（中國中心）主任榮鷹主持，緬甸戰(zhàn)略與國際問題研究所主任吳溫倫、重慶市人民政府外事辦公室主任王雯、瀾湄合作中國秘書處副國家協(xié)調(diào)員季凌鵬出席開幕式并致辭。

王雯表示，近年來，重慶市加快融入瀾湄合作機(jī)制，主動(dòng)探索“瀾湄合作與陸海新通道對接”新路徑，與湄公河國家開展的全方位、多領(lǐng)域的務(wù)實(shí)地方合作不斷取得新成效。重慶市愿積極參與智庫平臺(tái)對話，與各國湄公河研究中心專家加強(qiáng)交流，共同為“瀾湄合作與陸海新通道加快對接”獻(xiàn)計(jì)獻(xiàn)策。

Experts of Chongqing Center for Productivity Development （CQCPD） Offering Insights to Developing Chongqing into the Center for International Exchanges in Central and Western China

On December 10th， 2021， a meeting was held in the Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee， attended by Tong Xiaoping， Chair of CQCPD， Wu Jianong， Director of Expert Commission of CQCPD， and Wang Xuesi， Advisor on the development of the Center for International Exchanges in Central and Western China. The meeting was moderated by Wang Wen， Director-General of the Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Chongqing Municipal Committee， Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group and Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office， Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government.

Zhou Yi， Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office， Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， delivered a report on the progress， opportunities， challenges， and work to be done when developing the Center for International Exchanges in Central and Western China. Experts at the meeting had heated discussions， providing about 60 pieces of constructive advice and proposals. They also put forward valuable suggestions on a. how Chongqing could seize opportunities of investment and cooperation by tapping the RCEP， b. bolstering traditional trade， c. promoting modern services， d. better leveraging various agencies in Chongqing， e. enhancing capabilities to engage in international exchanges， f. exploring new pathways for improving international cooperation， etc.

市生產(chǎn)力發(fā)展中心專家為重慶建設(shè)中西部國際交往中心建言獻(xiàn)策

2021年12月10日，市生產(chǎn)力發(fā)展中心理事長童小平、市生產(chǎn)力發(fā)展中心專家委員會(huì)主任吳家農(nóng)、中西部國際交往中心建設(shè)咨詢專家王學(xué)斯等到市委外辦進(jìn)行調(diào)研座談。市委外辦主任，市政府外辦黨組書記、主任王雯主持座談會(huì)。

市政府外辦副主任周毅圍繞中西部國際交往中心建設(shè)相關(guān)工作進(jìn)展、面臨的機(jī)遇挑戰(zhàn)以及下一步工作等作專題匯報(bào)。與會(huì)專家熱烈討論，積極建言獻(xiàn)策60余條。還對重慶如何搶抓RCEP生效帶來的投資合作機(jī)遇，做強(qiáng)傳統(tǒng)貿(mào)易、推動(dòng)現(xiàn)代服務(wù)業(yè)發(fā)展，以及更好發(fā)揮各類駐渝機(jī)構(gòu)作用和提升國際交往能力、拓展國際合作思路等方面提出寶貴意見。

Nature Exploration Contest for Chongqing-Hong Kong-Macao Youth Held in Chongqing

On December 10th， 2021， awards ceremony of contests “Nature Exploration for Chongqing-Hong Kong-Macao Youth and Asia-European Youth Nature Exploration Activity” was held at KL International School of Chongqing Bashu. Nature Exploration for Chongqing-Hong Kong-Macao Youth was themed “In Four Seasons – Love All Livings”， holding four contests for each season with topics of Flowers in Spring， Grass in Summer， Trees in Autumn， and Herbs in Winter. The activity aimed to enhance cultural exchanges among the youth in Chongqing， Hong Kong SAR， and Macao SAR， carry forward the fine traditional Chinese culture， and raise the youths awareness to love nature and cherish life. Zhang Yaxi， Deputy Director-General of Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office， Chongqing Municipal Peoples Government， believed that the Nature Exploration contest offered a new channel for the youth to participate in cultural exchanges， and she also expressed the hope that students could spend more after-school time in nature， gaining knowledge from all living things such as flowers， grass， and trees， and growing up strong and well.

渝港澳青少年自然探索大賽公益活動(dòng)在渝舉行

2021年12月10日，渝港澳青少年自然探索大賽公益活動(dòng)暨亞歐青少年自然探索行動(dòng)“夏知草”筆記本大賽頒獎(jiǎng)儀式在諾林巴蜀外籍人員子女學(xué)校舉行。渝港澳青少年自然探索大賽以“走進(jìn)四季·愛上萬物”為主題，分為“春知花、夏知草、秋知樹、冬知藥”四季比賽，旨在增進(jìn)渝港澳三地青少年文化交流，弘揚(yáng)和傳承中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化，培養(yǎng)青少年熱愛自然、珍惜生命的意識(shí)。市政府港澳辦副主任張婭茜出席活動(dòng)。她表示，渝港澳青少年自然探索大賽，架起了青少年文化交流的新橋梁。希望同學(xué)們可以利用更多的課余時(shí)間，將身心融進(jìn)自然，從一花一草一樹中吸取更多營養(yǎng)，茁壯成長。

The Abstract Duet Orsolya Ader and Attila Konnyu Double Solo Exhibition Held in Chongqing

On December 17th， 2021， the opening ceremony was held in Chongqing for the Abstract Duet Orsolya Ader and Attila Konnyu Double Solo Exhibition， co-hosted by the Consulate-General of Hungary in Chongqing and the Hong Kong VA Galleries. Over 40 pieces of art by Orsolya Ader and Attila Konnyu， two famous Hungarian artists， were on show. Kádár Gergely， Consul-General of Hungary in Chongqing and Li Mingquan， Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal Government， addressed the opening ceremony.

According to Li Mingquan， with the tremendous support of the Consulate-General of Hungary in Chongqing， friendly interactions have reached new heights in various sectors between the two sides. In addition， Hungarian cultural exchange activities have been held in Chongqing on a yearly basis， becoming a famous brand name of international cultural exchanges in the Municipality. This exhibition was expected to bring Chongqing people closer to the Hungarian culture in an in-depth way， thus enhancing cultural exchanges between the two sides and promoting greater prosperity in the cultural development.

匈牙利“抽象雙重奏—木蘭與阿提拉·珂紐雙人畫展”在渝舉行

2021年12月17日，匈牙利駐重慶總領(lǐng)事館與香港維岸畫廊共同主辦的“抽象雙重奏一木蘭與阿提拉·珂紐重慶雙人展”在渝開幕?；顒?dòng)展出知名匈牙利藝術(shù)家木蘭與阿提拉·珂紐分別創(chuàng)作的40余幅藝術(shù)作品。匈牙利駐重慶總領(lǐng)事葛凱達(dá)、市政府外辦副主任李明全出席開幕式并致辭。

李明全表示，在匈牙利駐重慶總領(lǐng)事館的大力推動(dòng)下，重慶與匈牙利各領(lǐng)域友好交流合作不斷邁上新臺(tái)階。每年在渝舉辦的匈牙利布達(dá)佩斯文化活動(dòng)，已成為重慶國際文化交流活動(dòng)的知名品牌。希望通過此次藝術(shù)展，促進(jìn)重慶市民對匈牙利文化有更加深入的了解，從而推動(dòng)兩地文化交流愈加緊密、文化事業(yè)更加繁榮。

The First Seminar on Poverty Alleviation and Cooperative Development for South Asian Countries Successfully Concludes

On December 24th， 2021， the closing ceremony for the First Seminar on Poverty Alleviation and Cooperative Development for South Asian Countries was jointly held by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government， Chongqing Municipal Administration of Rural Revitalization， and Southwest University. This Seminar was a concrete step made by China-South Asian Countries Poverty Alleviation and Cooperative Development Center. The ceremony was attended by Liu Guizhong， Director-General of the Chongqing Municipal Administration of Rural Revitalization， Zhang Weiguo， President of Southwest University， and Feng Zimin， Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal Government. In addition， 55 participants from Afghanistan， Pakistan， Nepal， Sri Lanka， and Bangladesh joined the ceremony via video link.

During this 10-day seminar， Chinas experience of fighting poverty and pursuing development was shared， and paths were explored for poverty reduction and sustainable growth that fit the region. This demonstrated the resolve and determination of China and South Asian countries to jointly respond to challenges， fight poverty， and build a community of a shared future for mankind. Through virtual visits to the demo sites of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization in China， the participants learned about Chinas practices in poverty reduction and development. They discussed new methods and paths for poverty reduction in their own countries. In this process， they shared insights and wisdom， deepened mutual understanding， and firmed up friendship.

南亞國家減貧與發(fā)展合作研修班（第一期）圓滿結(jié)業(yè)

2021年12月24日，重慶市人民政府外事辦公室、市鄉(xiāng)村振興局、西南大學(xué)共同舉行中國南亞國家減貧與發(fā)展合作中心“南亞國家減貧與發(fā)展合作研修班（第一期）”結(jié)業(yè)儀式。市鄉(xiāng)村振興局局長劉貴忠、西南大學(xué)校長張衛(wèi)國、市政府外辦副主任馮子敏出席，阿富汗、巴基斯坦、尼泊爾、斯里蘭卡、孟加拉國等5國的55名學(xué)員線上參加。

本期研修班為期10天，分享了中國減貧與發(fā)展經(jīng)驗(yàn)，探索符合地區(qū)實(shí)際的減貧和可持續(xù)發(fā)展之路，彰顯中國與南亞國家攜手應(yīng)對疫情挑戰(zhàn)、合力推進(jìn)減貧事業(yè)、共同推動(dòng)構(gòu)建人類命運(yùn)共同體的堅(jiān)定決心。各國學(xué)員通過“云參觀”中國脫貧攻堅(jiān)和鄉(xiāng)村振興示范點(diǎn)，學(xué)習(xí)了解中國的減貧與發(fā)展經(jīng)驗(yàn)，深入探討南亞國家脫貧的新方式和新路徑，在交流中碰撞出思想的火花，加深彼此了解，增進(jìn)傳統(tǒng)友誼。

China-Japan Online Symposium on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation

On December 15th， 2021， the 2021 China-Japan Symposium on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation was co-hosted by Sichuan Provincial Peoples Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries， Chongqing Municipal Peoples Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries， the Consulate-General of Japan in Chongqing and the International Affairs Division， Wakayama Prefecture， Japan. Multiple venues were set up for this online Symposium， including Sichuan， Chongqing， Yibin， Wakayama Prefecture and the National Institute for Land and Infrastructure Management， Japan. The Symposium was also addressed by Hong Liu， Chairman of Sichuan Provincial Peoples Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries; Wang Guangcheng， Vice Chairman of Chongqing Municipal Peoples Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries; Takada Mari， Consul-General of Japan in Chongqing and Toshihiko Okazawa， Chief of the International Affairs Division， Wakayama. Xiang Qionghua， Secretary-General of Sichuan Provincial Peoples Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries， moderated the meeting.

Wang Guangcheng believed that it was of great significance to hold China-Japan Symposium on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation on a regular basis. As Japan and Sichuan Province have rich experience in disaster prevention and mitigation， experts and scholars can leverage this platform to conduct informative exchanges and share experience and effective practices， thus advancing work on disaster prevention and relief in the post-Covid era and bringing benefits to peoples in both countries.

During the keynote speech session， the participants carried out in-depth discussions from multiple perspectives and on various topics. Based on first-hand experience， they introduced the situations in their localities and shared practices， experience， and their own observations.

中日“云端”對話 共話防災(zāi)減災(zāi)

2021年12月15日，四川省人民對外友協(xié)、重慶市人民對外友協(xié)、日本駐重慶總領(lǐng)館、日本和歌山縣國際課共同主辦2021中日防災(zāi)減災(zāi)研討會(huì)，設(shè)四川、重慶、宜賓、和歌山縣、日本國土交通省國土技術(shù)政策綜合研究所等多個(gè)會(huì)場。四川省人民對外友協(xié)會(huì)長洪流、重慶市人民對外友協(xié)副會(huì)長王廣成、日本駐重慶總領(lǐng)事高田真里、和歌山縣國際課長岡澤利彥出席會(huì)議并致辭。研討會(huì)由四川省對外友協(xié)秘書長向瓊花主持。

王廣成表示，持續(xù)開展中日防災(zāi)減災(zāi)研討會(huì)有著積極的意義。日本和四川省在防災(zāi)減災(zāi)領(lǐng)域都積累了很多寶貴經(jīng)驗(yàn)，希望專家學(xué)者利用研討會(huì)平臺(tái)，務(wù)實(shí)開展交流、共享經(jīng)驗(yàn)和有效舉措，積極推進(jìn)后疫情時(shí)代防災(zāi)減災(zāi)工作，造福兩國人民。

主旨演講環(huán)節(jié)，與會(huì)各方結(jié)合自身工作經(jīng)歷，介紹當(dāng)?shù)胤罏?zāi)減災(zāi)工作，分享防災(zāi)減災(zāi)舉措、經(jīng)驗(yàn)和體會(huì)等，多維度、深層次開展討論。
