The most glorious profession under the sun is a teacher. The one who first built me up was Mrs Yan.
Every child goes through a noisy and messy childhood. I am no exception. Instead of finishing the daily homework on time, I was obsessed with hanging out with a gang of naughty boys every day. As a result, my scores were not impressive. Luckily, Mrs Yan took this seriously. With a sincere and inclusive attitude, she helped right my wrong by punishing me in a strict way. She kept an eye on me at school and made sure I finished all the tasks and assignments. With a tight schedule, my school day was busy but efficient.
Gradually, I developed a good learning habit and learnt first things first. My ignorance and rudeness were also driven away. With the help of thefifty-year-old lady, I found myself more self-disciplined, positive and downto-earth. I even learnt to embrace the world with love and tolerance. Like a lighthouse, she showed me the way out of the darkness and guided me to the right path of life.
As the saying goes, “One day as a teacher and lifelong as a mother.” After entering the junior high school, she did not stop caring about my development. To me, she is not only a dependable teacher, but also a reliable friend. Thanks to her support, I have grown up, remaining true to my aspiration.
“With wind it steals in night; Mute, it moistens each thing.” Teachers' Day is coming, I'd like to wish Mrs Yan and all the teachers a happy Teachers' Day!
