故事簡(jiǎn)介:
艾薇和霍莉是一對(duì)姐妹, 二人剛隨家人從亞利桑那州搬到新家。剛搬來(lái)的艾薇十分想念以前的家,她對(duì)自己的小仙人掌說(shuō)出自己的思念。姐姐霍莉拿出搬家前的照片與艾薇分享。姐姐說(shuō),自己也不喜歡搬家,因?yàn)樯岵坏美戏孔雍屠吓笥选5?,?lái)到新家后,同樣可以交到新朋友,慢慢地喜歡上這里。艾薇擔(dān)心地問(wèn)道:“要是我們?cè)侔峒夷??”霍莉安慰艾薇說(shuō):“無(wú)論身在何地,只要家人在一起就是家?!甭?tīng)了姐姐的話,艾薇豁然開(kāi)朗,對(duì)新生活充滿了期待……
Ivy set her baby cactus in the window of her new bedroom. “Were a long way from Arizona, Sam,” she said.
“Who are you talking to?”asked Ivys older sister, Holly.
“My cactus,” said Ivy. “We miss our old house.”
“Me too,” said Holly. “Im glad I took pictures before we left. Come and have a look.”
“Theres Moms cactus garden! And those funny little quails!”
“Why did we have to move?” Ivy said, sighing.
“You know that Dad is in the air force,” said Holly.
“We move wherever his job is. We moved once, before you were born.”

“Did you like moving?” asked Ivy.
“Not really, said Holly.
“I missed my friends and our old house. But I made new friends. And I learned to love our house in Arizona.”
“Will I learn to love this house?” asked Ivy.
“I think so,” said Holly. “I like our new porch and yard already.”
“But what if we move again?”
“Wherever we are, it will always be home, because were a family—you, me, Mom, Dad, and Sam,” said Holly.
Ivy smiled and said, “Lets go and take some pictures of this house, too!”
