4In 2018, Marrakech’s Menara Airport served over 5 million passengers,a sign of the city’s increasing popularity and accessibility to Africa.Based in Casablanca, E2A Architecture led a 2008 expansion project of the airport.The visually striking and solar-powered Terminal 1 at Marrakech’s airport merges Moroccan style with a 21st-century construction technology.Clad in white aluminum panels and featuring stylized Islamic ornamental designs, the structure sheds tons of light inside the terminal, with brightness varying according to the time of day.

4.Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX)

5.Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport Mumbai (BOM)

7As India’s second-busiest airport,Mumbai International Airport’s swanky Terminal 2 was inspired by India’s national bird, the peacock.It’s most apparent when you gaze up and see the peacock-tail-patterned roof, showcasing what seems like 1,000 white peacocks in the sky.T2 is home to India’s largest public art program, in the form of an almost 2-mile-long art wall, illuminated by skylights, with more 7,000 pieces of artwork and artifacts from Mumbai and other parts of India.

5.孟買(mǎi)賈特拉帕蒂·希瓦吉國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)（BOM）

8Denver International serves more than 64.5 million passengers each year.Built in 1995 and designed by Curtis Fentress, its fiberglass roof is shaped to resemble the Rocky Mountains and allows the interior space to be flooded with natural light.A variety of sculptures, murals7mural 壁畫(huà)；壁飾。and installations support a permanent art collection spread throughout every terminal.Along the walkway between the Jeppesen Terminal and Concourse A, an auditory art piece of tribal chanting thrums as passengers make their way to catch a flight.

7.Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND)

9One of two airports serving the greater Tokyo area, Haneda is a major hub.Designed by famed Argentine architect César Pelli, the tall ceilings,ample light and emphasis on circular patterns are sure to make your jaw drop as soon as you arrive.The city launches a new transit line connecting Haneda Airport directly to Tokyo Station in approximately 18 minutes, making it not only the more aesthetically appealing airport in Tokyo but the more convenient,as well.

8.Paine Field Airport (PAE)

10Hailed as Seattle’s second airport and the smallest on our list, Paine Field was designed by Fentress Architects, the same firm that designed Denver International.The two-gate, 30,000-squarefoot, state-of-the-art terminal exudes luxury, with polished black granite floors, check-in stands made of Italian marble, a limestone-covered wall and two fireplaces.The jet bridges8jet bridge 登機(jī)橋，廊橋。are constructed from glass imported from Germany, making the boarding process less confining and more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.■

7.東京羽田國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)（HND）

9羽田機(jī)場(chǎng)是服務(wù)于東京首都圈的兩大機(jī)場(chǎng)之一，也是一個(gè)重要的交通樞紐。機(jī)場(chǎng)由阿根廷著名設(shè)計(jì)師塞薩爾·佩利設(shè)計(jì)，挑高的天花板、充足的采光、以圓形為主的圖案，讓人剛走進(jìn)來(lái)就驚嘆不已。東京還計(jì)劃新開(kāi)一條地鐵線(xiàn)，從羽田機(jī)場(chǎng)直達(dá)東京站，全程只需大約18 分鐘。新地鐵線(xiàn)不僅讓羽田機(jī)場(chǎng)更具美感，也讓其更為便利。

8.佩恩機(jī)場(chǎng)（PAE）

10佩恩機(jī)場(chǎng)是西雅圖第二大機(jī)場(chǎng)，也是這份名單中最小的機(jī)場(chǎng)。它由設(shè)計(jì)丹佛國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)的芬特雷斯建筑事務(wù)所設(shè)計(jì)。這座擁有兩個(gè)登機(jī)口、占地3萬(wàn)平方英尺、設(shè)備一流的航站樓盡顯奢華之氣。地面由光亮的黑色花崗巖石材鋪就，登機(jī)口工作臺(tái)由意大利大理石制成，墻壁覆有石灰?guī)r材料，還配有兩個(gè)壁爐。登機(jī)橋采用德國(guó)進(jìn)口的玻璃建造，讓登機(jī)通道更加敝亮，更具視覺(jué)美感。 □
