Carrying sediments from the loess plateau, the surging Yellow River rushes towards a row of rumbling blue waves on the Bohai Sea after a journey of thousands of miles. Water is the lifeblood of the Yellow River. From the northern foot of the Bayan Har Mountains on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the Bohai Sea, the thousands of miles long Yellow River has achieved a continuous flow for 23 consecutive years.
From the belief that “man will conquer nature” to the philosophy of “harmony between man and water”, the water quality of the Yellow River has been significantly improved in recent years. For the people living by the Yellow River, their latest impression of the river is that “it is becoming clearer and clearer”.
Clear water, flying waterfowls, richer biodiversity, and various dynamic scenes are simply alluring. An ecological picture of azure skies, clear water and numerous birds is unfolding by the riverside.
