竹蜻蜓(節(jié)選)

①做竹蜻蜓很簡單,一根小小的木棍兒,一條薄薄的木片,工具是一把小刀,鋒利與不鋒利都無所謂,關(guān)鍵是要有刀尖。刀尖用來在小木片上鉆洞,小木片要削成勻凈的螺旋槳形。
②做竹蜻蜓,要事先在小木片上畫出要削的線,在中間留下鉆洞的點。隨后你要小心翼翼地切削木片,先斜著向左削,削出斜且平滑的一面;再斜著向右削,幾刀過后木片就呈現(xiàn)出一種扭曲的螺旋狀。接著在木片中間鉆洞,并插上木棍,最后竹蜻蜓就做好了。
③記得制成竹蜻蜓的時間是一個星期天的早晨,我捧著它走出家門,像捧著一件偉大的工藝品。竹蜻蜓的生命出自我——一個三年級小學(xué)生之手,還有什么事情比它更讓人激動呢?我把插好小木片的小木棍放在掌心,使勁一搓,竹蜻蜓便奇跡般地飛了起來。仰頭望著竹蜻蜓的英姿,我感受到一陣涌自心底的狂喜。
④我的興奮保持的時間很短,因為竹蜻蜓飛行了三次之后,小木棍便松了。到第四次時,我使勁一搓,竹蜻蜓悠悠地飛上高空,很快甩下了一條尾巴。尾巴斜斜地落下來,翅膀卻仍然向上旋去。同時由于甩掉了唯一的負擔(dān),木片借一陣清風(fēng)直上九重云霄,很快隱入樹梢的綠蔭里。我拿著光禿禿的小木棍,癡立半晌,不知該怎么辦,最后只能懊惱地回到家里,打算再一次制作竹蜻蜓。
⑤不知怎么回事,做竹蜻蜓時,小刀子鬼使神差,往我的指頭上戳了一下,血便不客氣地冒出來。爸爸媽媽像看到警報一樣過來救援,手指自然是包扎得很出色,血也停止了流淌。然而竹蜻蜓,夢中的竹蜻蜓,也就此離我而去,以至我一直對它念念不忘…… (摘自《北國少年行》)
