Look at these people. Do their faces look like skulls（頭骨）？ Don’t be scared（害怕的）. These people are celebrating the Day of the Dead（亡靈節(jié)）. It is a famous festival in Mexico（墨西哥）. The festival is to celebrate death and ghosts（幽靈）. It is usually on November 1 and 2.

On these days， people have a parade（游行）. They wear costumes and paint their faces. Most people also build altars（祭壇） at home. There are candles（蠟燭）， flowers， skulls and gifts around the altar.
