During the holidays， many young Chineseare eager to invite their friends to visit museumexhibitions and appreciate the charm of traditionalculture. “Exhibition-watching socialization” hasgradually emerged as a popular social activity for young people.Museum lover Yu Shaojing feels that museums bring history backto life. “Visiting the museums is like going deep into the world ofhistory and the environment in which our ancestors lived，” Yu said.

Many museums across the country have also launched［發(fā)行］ culturaland creative products such as mystery boxes with an archaeologytheme. Paris has once again been named the worlds most attractivecity destination［ 目的地］， according to an annual report by globalmarket research company Euromonitor International. Europe reignedsupreme， with seven out of the top 10 cities and 63 countries in thetop 100. The only non-European cities in the top 10 were Dubaiat No. 2， Tokyo at No. 4 and New York at No. 8. Madrid camethird， while Amsterdam， Berlin and Rome were at Nos. 5， 6 and 7respectively［依次為］. Barcelona and then London rounded out the top10. Asia did well in the top 20 as Singapore （11）， Seoul （14）， Osaka（16） and Hong Kong （17） all made the list.

Using plastic cutting boards can produce microplastics

Plastic is everywhere. From the food we eat to the air webreathe， tiny particles of plastic — also known as “microplastics” —can be found in almost anything. Not only does plastic cause realhavoc［ 災(zāi)害］ on our oceans and take centuries to decay， causingeven more of an environmental crisis， but experts have questionedwhether consuming microplastics can negatively impact［ 影響］health. Especially if there are pieces of plastic youre using on aregular basis， like say your handy-dandy plastic cutting board.

With so much uncertainty around whether plastic cuttingboards actually negatively affect human health， the question stillstands： Should we get rid of them just in case？ Dr. Lebeau saysthat were already consuming so many microplastics throughout ourday （like in our food we eat from production， or even sometimesin our water even if its been filtered［ 過濾］） that the microplasticsfrom cutting boards wont be making a huge difference. Whileusing a wood cutting board may seem like a cleaner， safer option，these types of products are porous and may not be completelydisinfected properly， increasing the risk of food-borne illness. If youwould like to avoid both altogether， the United States Departmentof Agriculture （USDA） recommends replacing your plastic and woodcutting boards with ones that aremade from bamboo because they aredenser and are less porous than otherwood cutting boards， decreasing yourrisk. Just be sure to clean it asthoroughly as possible！
