Dongkou is my hometown. It is in Hunan Province. It has changed a lot in the past few years.

Several years ago， there were many old houses. The river was very dirty andit smelled badly. It was inconvenient for people to go to work or school. Weusually go to work or school by bike or on foot. But now it has changed a lot.The old houses have disappeared. There are more tall buildings here than before.The river is so clean that people can swim in it. And there are more and morefish in the river. More and more people take buses to work or to school. Evenmore and more people drive their cars to work. The streets， the hospitals and thegovernment all have changed a lot. Of course the people have changed a lot， too.They become more civilized.

I am very happy to see that my hometown is becoming more and more beautiful.

家鄉(xiāng)的變化

洞口是我的家鄉(xiāng)，它位于湖南省。在過去的幾年里它發(fā)生了很大的變化。

幾年前，這里有許多老房子。河水很臟，氣味也很難聞。人們上班或?qū)W習很不方便。我們通常騎自行車或步行出門上班或上學。但現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)發(fā)生了很大的變化。老房子消失了，這里的高樓比以前多了。河水很干凈，人們可以在里面游泳，河里的魚也越來越多。越來越多的人乘公共汽車去上班或?qū)W習。甚至開車上班的人也越來越多。街道、醫(yī)院和政府都發(fā)生了很大變化。當然，人們也改變了很多，他們變得更加文明。

我很高興看到我的家鄉(xiāng)變得越來越美麗。
