Nancy is in her friend Yang Lings house. They are in the kitchen, making something to eat(做點(diǎn)吃的). They only want a quick snack(快餐) and a cup of tea, but there arent any clean cups or plates, so Yang Ling does the washing-up(洗餐具). Nancy pours（倒）herself a glass of juice from the jug. Yang Ling is making tea（沏茶）. She puts some teabags（茶包） into the teapot, and then pours boiling water（開水）into it from the kettle. Then she has her tea with milk（奶茶）. Nancy prefers（更喜歡） tea with lemon（檸檬茶）. They all like cookery（烹飪）.
