The Importance of Reading

At present many students do not do any reading after class. Here are reasons. Firstly， some students said they had too much homework. Secondly， lots of students said that they did not have a good reading habit. Thirdly， other students said they spent too much time in watching TV and surfing the Internet.

However， I think reading can open up students eyes and provides students information about the world. It can also make our life very interesting. In my opinion， reading is very important for us. So， teachers can give students time to read， and students should read books every day.
