Zhang Qing, a Chinese college student, traveled through 10 European countries in 32 days last summer holiday.
Zhang dreamed of going to Europe from a very young age. Last August, he decided that it was time to make his dream come true.
“My father couldnt sleep for a week after I went to Europe, and my mother often woke up during the night, worrying about me,” said Zhang.
With only 15, 000 yuan, Zhang began his tour. During the 32day tour, he only spent three nights at a hotel. He slept at train stations, beaches, bridges, airports, libraries or fastfood restaurants. He drew paintings and sold them for money, and even begged on the streets in
Luxemburg.
“I have not asked my parents for money since I entered college, and I worked the past two summer vacations to save money,” said Zhang.

Chinese writer Mo Yan is famous all over the world, but do you know Anna Gustafson Chen, his Swedish translator(翻譯家)?
