我們仿效BBC的廣播節(jié)目“60秒改進(jìn)世界”（Sixty Second Idea to Improve the World）推出了“改進(jìn)建筑60秒”欄目，每期將在世界范圍內(nèi)采訪兩位人物，請(qǐng)他們就建筑、城市、景觀、技術(shù)等相關(guān)問題在60秒的時(shí)間里講出一個(gè)或兩個(gè)有啟發(fā)性、批判性甚至有爭(zhēng)議性的觀點(diǎn)。本欄目如實(shí)記錄了他們的話，采訪所拍攝的視頻將會(huì)出現(xiàn)在我們的相關(guān)網(wǎng)頁上。所述觀點(diǎn)只代表嘉賓本人，與本雜志立場(chǎng)無關(guān)?！?/p>

For me it is important that we not only focus on the building itself, but also keep the complete surroundings in perspective - keeping the interstitial spaces between architecture in mind. As a second issue it is important that we design rooms with materials appropriate for its use. This means that it is very well the responsibility of the architect which material he uses, in order to contribute to a sustainable, future-orientated, global development. And as a third aspect, the thought of recycling is very important for me. Because building something always means real stress for the environment, it is crucial for me to think of how the building can be adapted, returning building material back to the environment or how we can build something new from it.□

我很想和大家分享一個(gè)我在做評(píng)論和研究中非常關(guān)注的問題，就是如何認(rèn)識(shí)品質(zhì)。大家都抱怨中國(guó)當(dāng)代建筑的施工品質(zhì)十分粗糙，而我關(guān)心的問題是施工技術(shù)達(dá)成的粗糙有沒有可能或者在何種可能性下會(huì)被認(rèn)為是可接受的品質(zhì)，甚至建筑師在做設(shè)計(jì)的時(shí)候，可以進(jìn)行有意識(shí)的預(yù)估，并且把它這種粗糙轉(zhuǎn)化為一種特殊的品質(zhì)。我們可以看到南美洲現(xiàn)代主義建筑非常粗糙，或者粗野主義，以及今天的藝術(shù)家在做設(shè)計(jì)的時(shí)候，非常喜歡保留粗糙的品質(zhì)，而不喜歡非常平滑、非常完整、非常豪華的裝修。這些都可以作為案例被我們關(guān)注。□
