In this paper, Aspen Plus is used to study the process flow of separation of ethanol-benzene binary azeotrope by pressure swing distillation and extractive distillation. The tower equipment costs of the two kinds of separation processes are similar, and the extractive distillation process is more energy efficient than the conventional pressure swing distillation process, reboiler energy saving of about 34%; heat integrated pressure swing distillation process is about 17.2% energy saving than the extractive distillation process, and the required steam grade is lower.

In this paper, the CFD calculation software FLUENT is used to simulate the leakage and diffusion process under different conditions to determine the morphology and prevention mechanism of methane leakage. The distribution of the concentration after gas leakage and diffusion is analyzed, and the simulation results are analyzed and discussed. This paper also summarizes the general law of gas leakage and diffusion.

The inert gas supply quantity of the gas tight system is not only affected by the amount of make-up gas required for the stored liquid pumped out from the storage tank and the amount of make-up gas required for the condensation and contraction of the gas in the tank due to the change of the outside air temperature, it is also affected by the safety and monitoring facilities of the gas supply system and the storage tanks. With the combination of the project examples, this paper introduces the calculation of storage tank inert gas tight system and the similarities and differences with the breathing valve, which can provide reference for similar engineering design.

The structure is simplified as a single degree of freedom system of elastic - plastic dynamic balance and a reliable load force system.
