一、文體概述
感謝信是指在日常學(xué)習(xí)和生活中,受惠者給給予自己幫助、支持、關(guān)心等的人表示感謝的信件。所表達(dá)的情感必須真摯。信件通常包括以下內(nèi)容:寫(xiě)信的目的(表示感謝)→感謝的原因(詳細(xì)展開(kāi))→對(duì)方的作用和對(duì)自己的意義→再次表示感謝。
二、必備短語(yǔ)
1. take the opportunity 利用這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì);趁機(jī)
2. It was really kind of you... 你真好……
3. return ones kindness回報(bào)某人的善意
4. with ones help/with the help of sb. 在某人的幫助下
5. express ones gratitude for 因……表示感激

8. thanks to/because of your encouragement由于你的鼓勵(lì)
9. be patient with sb./ have much patience with sb.對(duì)某人有耐心

三、套用句式
1. My true gratitude is beyond any words/description. 任何語(yǔ)言都無(wú)法表達(dá)我真摯的謝意。
2. We are very grateful for what you did for us. 非常感激你為我們做的一切。
3. I am writing to express my thanks for your helping me improve my spoken English. 我寫(xiě)這封信是為了表達(dá)你幫我提高英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)的謝意。

參考答案與范文
習(xí)作修改
李華上周在英國(guó)參加了學(xué)校組織的“文化交流周”活動(dòng),并住在Kelly家里。這是李華給Kelly寫(xiě)的一封感謝信。
1. warmly→warm 修飾名詞warm,應(yīng)用形容詞。
2. on→in因participate in為固定搭配,意為“參加”。
3. yourself→myself 因主語(yǔ)是I,應(yīng)該是“我”玩得開(kāi)心,故用myself。
4. pay→paid 由Last week可知,此處描述的是過(guò)去的事情,故用一般過(guò)去時(shí)。
5. or→and 了解的應(yīng)是“文化與歷史”,而并非“文化或者歷史”。
6. friend→friends 根據(jù)前面的many可知此處應(yīng)用名詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式。
7. 在stay前加to 因be lucky to do sth. 為固定搭配。
8. that→which 引導(dǎo)非限制性定語(yǔ)從句,只能用which指代先行詞the dictionary。
9. 把make后的the去掉 應(yīng)make full use of為固定搭配,意為“充分利用”。
