A Colourful Guangzhou Flower Fair

When the Spring Festival comes every year, there is a colourful Flower Fair in Guangzhou. Do people only sell or buy flowers in it? No, they don’t.

Let’s go to the Flower Fair and have a look. There are different kinds of flowers here. They are roses, lilies, peach blossoms and so on. The old farmers grow those beautiful flowers for people.

What about other fun things in the Fair? We can see many arts and nice food. Look! The strong cook is cooking some chicken. A young painter is drawing a picture of flowers. A tall singer is singing an English song with his guitar. Some children are running and playing with some toy hammers. The policemen are working in the crowd.

Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day first appeared in ancient Greece. In the United States, it is on the second Sunday in May every year. On this day, mothers usually get some gifts.

The carnation is regarded as dedicated to the mothers.

On Mother’s Day, I will draw a picture for my mother and tell her I love her very much. I will cook some nice food and clean the room. I think my mother will be very happy!

My Family

Hi, everyone! My name is Kiki. Now, I want to introduce my family to you.

My family is small but warm.

There are three people in my family: my father, my mother and me. My father is a hardworking man. He is a policeman. He works in a police station. He likes watching TV and he watches it every night.

My mother is a housewife. She always goes to the cinema and sees a film. In the evening, she prepares dinner for my father and me.

I am a student. I study at Fangcun Primary School. My school is very big and beautiful. There are thirty-one classes in my school. And there are thirtyeight students in my class. I have three kind teachers: Miss Zhang, Miss Zhao and Mr. Li.

I love my warm family. And I hope that you have a warm family like mine.
