Werner M. Dornscheidt （64） remains CEO of Messe Düsseldorf until June 30， 2020， the supervisory board decided in its session on May 15. He joined Messe Düsseldorf in 1979， only interrupted by an intermezzo as CEO of Messe Leipzig from 1999 to 2003. He was appointed CEO of Messe Düsseldorf in 2004.

歐洲微波周將在馬德里舉辦

Set for Spain

For the first time， Spain is hosting European Microwave Week， which is taking place from September 23 to 28， 2018. Scientists， technologists and professionals from the sector of highfrequency technologies （radio frequency， microwave and millimetre waves） from all over the world will meet at IFEMA. The event is expected to draw around 4，000 attendees and more than 300 international exhibitors to Madrid， filling 7，000 sqm of space at the industrial exhibition.

K？lnmesse to establish subsidiary in Bogota

K？lnmesse stepped up its international activities in 2017 in South America， and above all in Brazil and Colombia， which has become a focus of the companys internationalisation strategy as a hub for the Andean region and Caribbean. "By midyear， we will have founded a new subsidiary there headquartered in Bogotá"， Gerald B？se， CEO of K？lnmesse， announced. In March， the furniture supplier fair Muebla y Maderas organised by the Colombian exhibition company Corferias and K？lnmesse successfully kicked off there and， in June， Alimentec will be launched with an almost 40-percent increase in international exhibitors.
