英國的一家名為“比格爾街”的人壽保險(xiǎn)公司在情人節(jié)的那一天發(fā)起了一項(xiàng)調(diào)查，讓大家評選出史上最偉大的十封情書，以鼓勵英國人在2月14日那天表現(xiàn)得更加浪漫。參加評選的男士中，約有24%的人承認(rèn)自己在過去的一年中曾經(jīng)寫過情書，與此形成對比的是，有38%的女士說她們從來沒寫過情書。

盡管有46%的女士都認(rèn)為，寫情書這一做法已經(jīng)過時(shí)，但比格爾街保險(xiǎn)公司的總經(jīng)理說，人們還是很喜歡收到手寫的信?！耙环馕墓P優(yōu)美的情書能經(jīng)受時(shí)間的考驗(yàn)，永久記錄雙方的情感，因此，寫情書的傳統(tǒng)不能丟。希望我們的評選能夠激發(fā)那些從來沒有寫過情書的人擠出時(shí)間，把自己對愛人的所思所想記錄下來，與愛人分享?！彼f。
