● 荷蘭大型物流代表團(tuán)來渝訪問

4月9日至10日，荷蘭王國基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施和水管理部秘書長(zhǎng)李德薇女士率荷蘭物流代表團(tuán)一行30人來渝訪問。10日，重慶市副市長(zhǎng)潘毅琴會(huì)見了李德薇一行。

潘毅琴表示，重慶是中國中西部地區(qū)唯一的直轄市，處于“一帶一路”和長(zhǎng)江經(jīng)濟(jì)帶的聯(lián)結(jié)點(diǎn)，戰(zhàn)略地位重要。荷蘭地理位置優(yōu)越，物流業(yè)在世界處于領(lǐng)先地位，重慶愿在已有的良好合作基礎(chǔ)上，與荷蘭繼續(xù)深化在中歐班列（重慶）、經(jīng)貿(mào)、旅游、教育、科技、園林等領(lǐng)域的交流與合作。

李德薇表示，荷蘭重視與重慶在物流等領(lǐng)域的合作，看好雙方合作前景，荷蘭政府和企業(yè)愿與重慶共同推動(dòng)在物流、旅游等各領(lǐng)域的交流與合作。

訪渝期間，代表團(tuán)出席了中荷鐵路物流企業(yè)家交流活動(dòng)，就在中歐班列（重慶）方面的合作機(jī)遇與挑戰(zhàn)進(jìn)行了熱烈討論；并訪問西部物流園，實(shí)地考察了解重慶市內(nèi)陸國際物流樞紐建設(shè)情況，共同探討尋求合作商機(jī)。

● 美國國會(huì)議員助手代表團(tuán)訪渝

4月18日至20日，應(yīng)中國人民外交學(xué)會(huì)邀請(qǐng)，美亞基金會(huì)2019年第1批美國國會(huì)議員助手代表團(tuán)一行15人來渝訪問。18日，市人大常委會(huì)副主任杜黎明會(huì)見了代表團(tuán)一行。

杜黎明表示，今年是中美建交40周年，中美互為重要伙伴。近年來，重慶與美國各領(lǐng)域交往不斷深化與拓展，人員互訪頻繁，友好交流密切。希望雙方在良好的交往基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)一步推動(dòng)在經(jīng)貿(mào)、人文、教育、醫(yī)療等各方面的合作。

代表團(tuán)團(tuán)長(zhǎng)卡爾森表示，中美兩國合作潛力巨大，相信中國西部區(qū)域以及重慶這座城市將在中美合作關(guān)系中發(fā)揮重要作用。

訪渝期間，代表團(tuán)與市衛(wèi)生健康委進(jìn)行座談，深入了解學(xué)習(xí)中國醫(yī)療改革措施、如何應(yīng)對(duì)城市和農(nóng)村醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生挑戰(zhàn)，以及重慶市分級(jí)診療制度建設(shè)的做法和成效、提升區(qū)縣級(jí)醫(yī)院服務(wù)能力等相關(guān)情況進(jìn)行了深入交流。代表團(tuán)還參觀了重慶市人民小學(xué)、重慶醫(yī)科大學(xué)附屬第一醫(yī)院及史迪威博物館等地，與相關(guān)負(fù)責(zé)人交流有關(guān)教育、醫(yī)療等方面的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

● 李謙赴京拜會(huì)巴基斯坦、希臘等國駐華大使

為貫徹落實(shí)習(xí)近平總書記視察重慶重要講話精神，助力重慶市在推進(jìn)共建“一帶一路”中發(fā)揮帶動(dòng)作用，4月19日，市政府外辦主任李謙率隊(duì)赴北京拜會(huì)巴基斯坦、希臘等國駐華大使，溝通加強(qiáng)重慶與各國駐華使館交流合作事項(xiàng)，并通過各國駐華大使館邀請(qǐng)有關(guān)國家政要和地方領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人來渝出席2019智博會(huì)、2019上合組織地方領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人會(huì)晤等大型國際會(huì)議活動(dòng)。

各國駐華大使紛紛表示，他們十分關(guān)注并看好重慶未來的發(fā)展，愿意加強(qiáng)與重慶市政府外辦的合作，推動(dòng)所在國與重慶開展互利合作。

● 澳大利亞駐成都總領(lǐng)事林明皓和昆士蘭州政府貿(mào)易投資廳大中華區(qū)首席代表朱莉拜會(huì)市政府外辦

4月11日，市政府外辦副主任王雯與澳大利亞駐成都總領(lǐng)事林明皓、昆士蘭州政府貿(mào)易投資廳大中華區(qū)首席代表朱莉一行舉行工作會(huì)談，商談推進(jìn)重慶市與澳大利亞的交流與合作。

雙方相互通報(bào)了重慶市與澳大利亞的交往合作情況，并就近期昆士蘭州農(nóng)業(yè)與漁業(yè)部長(zhǎng)訪渝活動(dòng)安排、舉辦中澳經(jīng)貿(mào)論壇等活動(dòng)方案進(jìn)行了溝通。王雯表示，市政府外辦歡迎澳方給予更多資源支持，推進(jìn)渝澳務(wù)實(shí)合作，也將與澳大利亞駐成都總領(lǐng)事館和昆士蘭州政府貿(mào)易投資廳緊密合作，做好近期澳代表團(tuán)來訪及我市參與布里斯班市舉行的亞太城市市長(zhǎng)峰會(huì)等工作，推進(jìn)兩地合作有序進(jìn)行。

● 張婭茜出席“首屆中國——東盟法學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)論壇”開幕式

3月30日，市政府外辦副主任張婭茜在渝出席“首屆中國——東盟法學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)論壇”開幕式并致辭。

張婭茜表示，重慶市政府外辦高度重視與東盟的交往合作。近期出臺(tái)的重慶市與重點(diǎn)目標(biāo)國家和地區(qū)交往合作計(jì)劃，把重慶與東盟的交往，包括雙方法學(xué)領(lǐng)域的交往納入該計(jì)劃，并進(jìn)行統(tǒng)籌推進(jìn)。未來，市政府外辦將繼續(xù)支持重慶市內(nèi)院校“走出去”，積極開展與東盟國家及院校的學(xué)術(shù)交流合作。同時(shí)，歡迎東盟國家及相關(guān)院校來渝考察，領(lǐng)略巴渝人文魅力，共享合作新機(jī)遇。

會(huì)期兩天，共有來自東盟6個(gè)國家的法學(xué)院院長(zhǎng)，以及國內(nèi)知名法學(xué)院校院長(zhǎng)（校長(zhǎng)）、專家學(xué)者等150余人出席。

● 全球創(chuàng)新城市聯(lián)盟代表團(tuán)來渝訪問

4月8日至9日，全球創(chuàng)新城市聯(lián)盟聯(lián)合創(chuàng)始人蘇百瑞、羅頎以及美國加州長(zhǎng)灘市公園、文娛與海事局局長(zhǎng)張達(dá)維一行訪渝。市政府外辦副巡視員、市對(duì)外友協(xié)副會(huì)長(zhǎng)王廣成與代表團(tuán)一行舉行座談。

王廣成介紹了重慶市對(duì)外友好交往工作基本情況，表示希望與長(zhǎng)灘市、全球創(chuàng)新聯(lián)盟加強(qiáng)溝通聯(lián)系，共同推動(dòng)重慶市與美國在體育、文化、藝術(shù)、教育等領(lǐng)域的交流與合作。

訪渝期間，代表團(tuán)前往重慶市乒乓球隊(duì)觀摩現(xiàn)場(chǎng)訓(xùn)練，與有關(guān)負(fù)責(zé)人舉行座談；并拜會(huì)了北碚區(qū)文旅委、北碚區(qū)外辦有關(guān)負(fù)責(zé)人，就加強(qiáng)雙方在文旅、體育等領(lǐng)域的合作交換了意見。

Large Logistics Delegation of the Netherlands Visited Chongqing

From April 9th to 10th,Mrs.Lidewijde Ongering,Secretary General of the Infrastructure and Water Management Department of the Netherlands,led a logistics delegation of 30 people to visit Chongqing.On 10th,Pan Yiqin,vice mayor of Chongqing,met with Lidewijde Ongering and her party.

Pan Yiqin said that Chongqing is the only municipality directly under the central government in the central and western regions of China.Chongqing is of strategic importance as it is at the junction of the “Belt and Road” and the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The Netherlands enjoys a superior geographical position,with its logistics industry taking a leading position in the world.Chongqing stands ready to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Netherlands in the fields of China Express Railway (Chongqing),economy,trade,tourism,education,science and technology,and gardens.

Lidewijde remarks that the Netherlands attaches great importance to cooperation with Chongqing in logistics and other fields,and takes an optimistic view about the prospects of cooperation between the two sides.The government and enterprises stand ready to work with Chongqing to promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as logistics and tourism.

During the stay in Chongqing,the delegation attended the Sino-Dutch Railway Logistics Entrepreneur Exchange activities and held a heated discussion on the cooperation opportunities and challenges facing China Express Railway (Chongqing).The members visited Chongqing Western Logistics Park,and carried out on-site investigation on the development of the inland international logistics hub in Chongqing so as to jointly explore cooperation opportunities.

Delegation of U.S.Congressional Aides Visited Chongqing

At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs,the first delegation of the Asian Foundation,which comprises 15 U.S.Congressional aides visited Chongqing from April 18th to 20th.On 18th,Du Liming,deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal People’s Congress,met with the delegation.

Du Liming said that this year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States,which are important partners of each other.In recent years,Chongqing and the United States have conducted exchanges in a deeper and broader way,as evidenced by more frequent personnel exchanges,and closer friendly exchanges.He hoped that the two sides,on the basis of friendly exchanges,will further promote cooperation in such areas as economy,trade,humanities,education and medical care.

Carlson,head of the delegation,said that the cooperation between China and the United States boasts great potential and that the western region of China and the city of Chongqing will play an important role in Sino-US cooperation.

During the stay in Chongqing,the delegation held a discussion with Chongqing Municipal Health and Health Committee to gain an in-depth understanding of China’s medical reform measures,solutions to medical and health challenges in urban and rural areas,and the practices and effectiveness of hierarchical medical system in Chongqing.The delegation also carried our in-depth exchanges to learn how to improve the service capacity of countylevel hospitals.They visited Chongqing Renmin Primary School,the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University and the Stilwell Museum,and exchanged experience in education and medical treatment with relevant personnel.

Li Qian Met with Ambassadors of Pakistan,Greece and Other Countries in Beijing

In order to implement the spirit of important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping when he inspected Chongqing,and to help Chongqing to play a leading role in promoting the BRI,Li Qian,Director of the Foreign Affairs Of fice of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government,led a party to Beijing to met with the ambassadors of Pakistan,Greece and other countries on April 19th.They held a discussion in the hopes of strengthening exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and the embassies of various countries in China.With the help of these embassies,they invited national political leaders and local leaders to attend major international conferences such as the Smart China Expo and the 2019 SCO local leaders meeting.

“In accordance with the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping,Chongqing is accelerating the building of the inland open highland,striving to take the lead in promoting openingup in China’s western region,and showing its fresh progress in creating a new development pattern of the western region,so as to achieve new breakthroughs.” Li Qian said.He hoped that Chongqing will strengthen cooperation with the embassies of countries in China to promote deep exchanges and cooperation between the city and other countries in such fields as trade,industry,education,cultural tourism for win-win results.

The ambassadors of countries in China stated that they have been paying great attention to and taking an optimistic view about the prospects of Chongqing.They stand ready to strengthen cooperation with the Foreign Affairs Of fice of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between their own country and Chongqing.

Christopher Lim,Consul General of Australia in Chengdu,and Julie,TIQ Chief Representative to Greater China,Visited the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government.

On April 11,Wang Wen,deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’ Government,Christopher Lim,Consul General of Australia in Chengdu,and Julie,chief representative of Trade & Investment Queensland (TIQ) to Greater China,held a working meeting to promote exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Australia.

The two sides introduced exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Australia,and deliberated on the recent arrangements for the visit of the Minister of Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries(DAF) to Chongqing and the China-Australia Economic and Trade Forum.Wang Wen said that the Australian side is welcomed to provide more resources to support the pragmatic cooperation between the two sides.Chongqing will also work closely with the Consulate General of Australia in Chengdu and TIQ to prepare for the recent visit of Australian delegation and for participation of Chongqing in the Asia Pacific Cities Summit(APCS) held in Brisbane so as to promote the cooperation between the two places in a sound manner.

Zhang Yaxi Attended the Opening Ceremony of the“First China-ASEAN Law School Dean’s Forum”

On March 30th,Zhang Yaxi,deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government,attended the opening ceremony of the “First China-ASEAN Law School Dean’s Forum” and delivered a speech.

Zhang Yaxi said that the the Foreign Affairs Of fice attaches great importance to the exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN.Recently,the Foreign Affairs Office has incorporated the exchanges between Chongqing and ASEAN,including those in the field of law,into the newly-implemented exchange and cooperation plan concerning Chongqing and key target countries and regions and promoted the plan in a coordinated way.Going forward,the Foreign Affairs Office will continue to support the“going global” of the institutions of Chongqing and actively carry out academic exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN countries and institutions.At the same time,ASEAN countries and related institutions are welcome to visit Chongqing,to appreciate the cultural charm of Bayu culture and to share new opportunities for cooperation.

During the two-day long meeting,more than 150 people,including law school deans of six ASEAN countries,and presidents (principals),experts and scholars of well-known law schools in China were present.

Delegation of Global Creative Cities Coalition Visited Chongqing

From April 8th to 9th,Barry R.Sedlik and Monique Luo,co-founders of Global Creative Cities Coalition,and David Zanatta,commissioner of the Department of Parks,Recreation and Marine,city of Long Beach,California,USA,led a delegation to visit Chongqing.Wang Guangcheng,deputy inspector of the Foreign Affairs Of fice of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and vice president of Chongqing People’s Association of Friendship with Foreign Countries,held a discussion with the delegation.

Wang Guangcheng briefed on the guests on Chongqing’s foreign friendly exchanges and expressed his desire to strengthen exchanges with city of Long Beach and the Global Creative Cities Coalition to jointly promote exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and the United States in sports,culture,art and education.

During the stay in Chongqing,the delegation observed the on-site training of Chongqing table tennis team and held a discussion with responsible persons.The delegation also paid a visit to the responsible persons of the Cultural and Tourism Committee and Foreign Affairs Office of Beibei District,and exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between the two sides in such fields as cultural tourism and sports.
