“可使食無肉,不可居無竹”
庭院在東方文化中扮演著很重要的角色,以園林為最。本項(xiàng)目意圖通過庭院的打造使其迸發(fā)出本土應(yīng)有的東方美。空間上通過起承轉(zhuǎn)合的空間層次起到烘托氛圍的作用。
入口處的“竹聲”,未必見竹,先聞竹聲,跟四合院的影壁院類似;拐彎處的“竹影”,竹影婆娑,見其蹤影,與四合院的第一進(jìn)院落相仿;穿過跟垂花門作用一樣的格構(gòu)門,進(jìn)入正院——“竹庭”,四外竹梢,門對千竹;因?yàn)橛羞@樣的層次,正房才是正房;最內(nèi)側(cè)尚有幽靜的小庭院“竹軒”,僻靜悠閑,與誰同坐,好比四合院的第三進(jìn)院落。

4個(gè)小院的景色成為書房與議事廳的抵景,同時(shí)也成為房前的客廳。
這樣的庭院似乎介于“院”和“園”之間,我們?nèi)苑Q之為園林。一分沒有山水的園林。

A Chinese garden without mountains and waters
"I would rather eat without meat than live in a place without bamboo."
Courtyard plays an important part in oriental culture, in which garden has a most significant place. This project intends to rejuvenate the garden for its oriental beauty through renovation, and highlight the atmosphere with the use of a gradient arrangement which is created by means of transition and transformation in space.
Courtyard
At the entrance, a bamboo grove as a screen wall in a courtyard causes an effect that visitors would hear the sound from bamboos before seeing them. The shadow of the bamboos around the corner which is similar to the first courtyard leads up to a lattice door that has the same function as a festoon gate. Behind the gate, a main courtyard, called bamboo courtyard, stands out from thousands of bamboos with unique importance.Walking to the deepest, a small bamboo veranda which functions as a third courtyard is standing still.

The four courtyards offer beautiful scenes for the study room and meeting hall, which function as the lobby to the formal buildings.
Such a courtyard that stands somewhere between a courtyard and a park is called a garden that is deprived of mountains and waters.

張昕楠:簡園的改造,某種程度是對傳統(tǒng)合院倫理空間的解構(gòu)與當(dāng)代園林空間的重構(gòu)。在空間布局與路徑設(shè)置的層面,設(shè)計(jì)將傳統(tǒng)的禮儀性軸線重構(gòu)為園林式的洄游性動線,以增強(qiáng)空間閱讀的層次和愉悅感。在園林裝置的層面,設(shè)計(jì)以現(xiàn)代性的材料和形式語言暗示著傳統(tǒng)園林中的亭、廊、軒,并借以和傳統(tǒng)的空間形式形成戲劇性的反差。
范路:在簡園改造項(xiàng)目中,對傳統(tǒng)四合院院落結(jié)構(gòu)和流線的重構(gòu)是主要設(shè)計(jì)特色。傳統(tǒng)的、庭院深深的線性院落布局,轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)榛剞D(zhuǎn)環(huán)繞的庭院流線,不變的卻是起承轉(zhuǎn)合的空間敘事節(jié)奏。由此出發(fā),4個(gè)庭院以現(xiàn)代方式交織在一起,為簡單的室內(nèi)帶來豐富的私密性層次和空間向度變化。

ZHANG Xinnan: The reform of Jian Garden to a certain extent is both a de-structure to the ethical space of traditional courtyard and a re-structure to contemporary garden space. At the level of spatial layout and route design, the design re-structures the traditional etiquette axis into the rambling route in a garden, in order to enhance the layers of space reading and the sense of enjoying. And at the level of garden installation, the design uses modern material and form language to imply the kiosk, corridor, and pavilion in traditional garden,which also form a dramatic contrast to the traditional space form. FAN Lu: In the renovation project of Jian Garden,the design features rearrangement of courtyards and circulation. In traditional Beijing quadrangle dwelling,the courtyards are organised in linear sequence from front to back. While in the new design, four courtyards are laid out along a circular route and spaces in them are interpenetrated in a modern way. The traditional spatial narrative is remained here but brings about more complicated orientations for the interior space.(Translated by QIAN Fang)
