“安檢”，即“安全檢查”，英語譯為security inspection 或security check。例如：1.在機場，旅客與其個人物品均需接受安檢。At the airport, both passengers and their personal belongings need to undergo security check.

“邊檢”，即“邊防檢查”，英語譯為immigration inspection 或frontier inspection。例如：2.“中國邊檢”是負責控制其邊境的政府機構。China Immigration Inspection is the governmental agency responsible for controlling its borders.3.所有進出國境的旅客都需接受邊檢。All the passengers entering or leaving the country must go through frontier inspection.

“ 通關”， 就是“ 完成邊防檢查手續(xù)”，英語譯為to complete the immigration inspection procedures。例如：4.在這個口岸，95%的旅客可以在25分鐘以內通關。At this port, 95% of the passengers can complete the immigration inspection procedures within 25 minutes. ▲
