11月12日，首爾最大、韓國最繁忙的會(huì)展場館Coex會(huì)展中心宣布與知名增強(qiáng)現(xiàn)實(shí)（AR）服務(wù)商N(yùn)exTech達(dá)成戰(zhàn)略合作，聯(lián)手在韓國和亞太地區(qū)打造混合虛擬會(huì)展活動(dòng)。通過技術(shù)創(chuàng)新，Coex會(huì)展中心將有力地助力會(huì)展主辦方共同打造令人難忘、獨(dú)樹一幟的會(huì)展體驗(yàn)。

Coex and NexTech AR Enter into a Strategic Partnership to Bring Hybrid Virtual Events

On 12 November， Coex， Seouls largest and Koreas busiest convention and exhibition center， announced its new strategic partnership with NexTech AR Solutions， a leading provider of virtual and augmented reality （AR） experience technologies and services for eCommerce， education， conferences and events， in Korea and the Asia Pacific region. Coex hosts over 200 exhibitions and 3，000 meetings & events at the Coex convention and exhibition center on an annual basis. Through the newly established partnership with NexTech， Coex will help event planners create unforgettable， one-of-a-kind events with exciting and interactives features.

翡翠展覽探索新的業(yè)務(wù)增長模式

從2020年3月中旬截至11月初，美國知名會(huì)展主辦方翡翠展覽公司已經(jīng)取消了94場展覽會(huì)，而且尚未舉辦一場線下展會(huì)。在此過程中估計(jì)損失2.36億美元。在今年第三季度，公司收入僅為850萬元，比上一年同期下降88.8%，主要是由于展會(huì)取消造成。

翡翠展覽臨時(shí)總裁、首席執(zhí)行官Brian Field表示，“當(dāng)前我們一邊逐步恢復(fù)線下會(huì)展活動(dòng)，一邊不斷探索新的業(yè)務(wù)增長路徑，其中主要是通過線上產(chǎn)品來連接老客戶、開發(fā)新客戶。雖然在這方面我們開始取得了不錯(cuò)的盈利率，但我們發(fā)現(xiàn)客戶對于面對面會(huì)展活動(dòng)的需求仍然是最大的?！?/p>

Rough waters for Emerald

Up to early November， Emerald has cancelled 94 events and has not staged an in-person event since the middle of March 2020. In total， these cancelled events accounted for approximately $236 million of 2019 revenues. For the third quarter of 2020， Emerald reported revenues of $8.5 million compared with revenues of $75.6 million for the third quarter of 2019， a decrease of $67.1 million， or 88.8%. Brian Field， Emeralds interim president and chief executive officer， said， "As we work towards a return to live events， we continue to implement our growth strategies. Our team is focused on using this time to launch new digital product offerings and revenue models designed to complement our live events."

美國糖果和零食博覽會(huì)遷址印第安納波利斯

11月5日，美國糖果協(xié)會(huì)宣布了2021年糖果和零食博覽會(huì)的日期和地點(diǎn)。該展會(huì)計(jì)劃于2021年6月22-25日在印第安納州印第安納波利斯的印第安納會(huì)議中心舉行，這意味著該展第一次在芝加哥以外的地方舉行。一些原本計(jì)劃在2020年展會(huì)上亮相的展會(huì)配套活動(dòng)將在本次展會(huì)舉辦，其中包括創(chuàng)新產(chǎn)品獎(jiǎng)?wù)写龝?huì)和服務(wù)供應(yīng)商展示會(huì)。

Sweets & Snacks Expo moves to Indianapolis

The National Confectioners Association has announced the date and location of the Sweets & Snacks Expo in 2021. It is scheduled to take place from June 22 to 25， 2021 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis， Ind. This marks the first event taking place outside Chicago in the shows history. Some features originally scheduled to debut at the 2020 show that had to be cancelled are planned to be unveiled in Indianapolis， including the Most Innovative New Product Awards Reception and the Supplier Showcase.
