1 Three dimensions of cultivating college students' leadership

The cultivation of college students' intercultural leadership reflects the changes in human behavior and social organization structure under the trend of globalization. A growing number of universities around the world are adding to their talent training missions to serve the world, cultivate global citizens, and enhance international understanding and communication, fully demonstrating their responsibility in cultivating the talents that will lead future development. At the same time, it also shows that the concept of internationalization has influenced the educational concept and practice of universities, and the cultivation of cross-cultural leadership has become the entry point and focus for universities to improve the quality of talent cultivation. Cultivating students' cross-cultural leadership is different from cultivating niche talents. It not only avoids the misunderstanding of cultivating leading cadres, but also pays attention to the educational content that conforms to students' orientation and social role. The essence of cultivating students' intercultural leadership ability is to carry out universal quality-oriented education for all students, combine the professional knowledge education and ability training for students, focus on improving students' comprehensive quality, and cultivate and improve students' and work action ability and influence in the future professional field. The cross-cultural leadership skills we cultivate should have a global perspective and strategic thinking, combine international professional knowledge and skills, follow international conventions and rules for cooperation and communication, and solve problems creatively. Specifically, it contains three dimensions of content.

1.1 Dimensions of awareness and attitude

Cross-cultural leaders must have an international awareness and attitude, understand the history and trends of the world and its national development, be able to think and analyze with a keen global vision, profound strategic thinking and innovative methods, and be able to participate in international communication initiatives.

1.2 Dimensions of knowledge literacy

In order to expand and enrich the personal knowledge structure, it is necessary not only to have a solid professional knowledge for in-depth cooperation in the professional field, but also to be familiar with international conventions and rules, and master the leadership skills required in sociology, psychology, management, and cross-cultural communication. And the broad knowledge of theory and other related disciplines can play an active and important role in international affairs.

1.3 Dimensions of behavioral competence

Have comprehensive action ability that can guide theoretical knowledge to specific practice, including critical thinking ability, teamwork and management coordination ability, social skills, communication skills, executive ability, decision-making ability and so on.

2. Effective ways to cultivate college students' leadership

2.1 Expand students' overseas exchange experience

The most direct way to improve students' international vision, enhance their intercultural communication ability, and cultivate their practical and innovative abilities is to encourage students to study overseas and exchange life experience in a real environment. To this end, it actively promotes diversified overseas study exchange programs with foreign universities to provide students with opportunities to receive high-quality foreign education and experience foreign culture. Training in an immersive environment, the integration of eastern and Western education and the collision of foreign cultures, students can learn different ways of thinking, foreign advanced science and technology and management concepts, etc., expand their knowledge and improve their learning level and creative thinking. Secondly, overseas exchange experience can broaden students' horizon, increase their knowledge, and improve their international understanding and communication skills.

2.2 Promote the combination of leadership education and vocational education

To cultivate the leadership of college students should be combined with the professional education of college students. On the one hand, the content of leadership education can meet the role of students at the present stage; On the other hand, it can keep up with the strategic needs of China's economic and social development in various fields and carry out reserve. Innovative high-end leading talents provide a driving force for the implementation of innovation-driven development in China.
