要點(diǎn):1. 每個人都需要朋友,如何交友極為重要;
2. 要交朋友,首先對別人要友好。微笑是吸引別人的吸鐵石(magnet);
3. 要使陌生人不管在何處,都能感受到你的親切。要關(guān)心別人勝過關(guān)心自己;
4. 設(shè)法記住別人的名字;
1. 人稱:第一、第二人稱為主;
2. 時態(tài):一般現(xiàn)在時和一般將來時為主;
have difficulty / trouble in doing sth. 做某事遇到困難/麻煩;make friends 交朋友;an important subject 一門重要的科目;be friendly to sb. 吸引某人;be sure to do sth. 一定/務(wù)必做……;in return作為回報;do ones best to do sth. 盡力做……;try to do sth. 設(shè)法做……;make an impression on / upon sb. 與某人討論;think of 想到,考慮;be in trouble 處于困境中
Dear Lori,
I am sorry you are having trouble in making friends. Everyone needs friends, and how to make friends is an important subject.
Firstly, to make friends, you must be friendly to others. A smile is like a magnet that draws people. Smile at others and you are always sure to get a smile in return. You should do your best to make a stranger feel at home, no matter where he happens to be. Think as you are in his position.
Secondly, try to remember others names, which will make them feel that they have made an impression on you. If you dont agree with others, dont argue but discuss with them. You should think more of others than of yourself.
Finally, dont believe those who leave their friends when they are in trouble because “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
Your friend,
John
