Kevin is a little boy.
He is only five years old.
He wakes up(起床)very early today.
His mother takes him to the play field(游樂場)
Kevin wants to play on his own(自己玩).
“Mum, can I play on my own?”asks Kevin.
“Ok, I just watch you,”agrees(同意)his mother.
Kevin wants to play on the roller coaster(過山車).
“I am sorry,”says the man selling tickets(賣門票).
“I cant let you play alone(讓你獨自玩). You are small.”
Kevin wants to hold(抱一抱)rabbits.
“I am sorry,”says the manager(管理人員).
“Your hands are too little to hold them.”
It is time for lunch.
Kevin sits down to eat.
He is too small to reach(夠到)his plate.
“How good if I can grow up(長大),”says Kevin.
It is a busy morning.
Kevin has a full stomach(吃得飽飽的).
Soon, Kevin cant keep his eyes open.
Kevin is back to the play field.
But this time something is different.
Oh, he is big now.
He is not too small to do anything.
How good!
Kevin goes to hold the rabbits.
But the manager stops him.
“Put those bunnies down,”says the manager.
“Youll scare(嚇?。﹖hem. You are too big.”
Kevin goes to the roller coaster.
He is too big for the roller coaster.
“You cannot ride,”says the man.
“You are too big.”
People in the play field are afraid of him.
They begin to run in all directions(方向).
Kevin feels sad and lonely(孤獨的).
“How good if I can become small,”says Kevin.
Suddenly, someone calls his name.
“Kevin? Kevin?”
Kevin wakes up and looks at his mother.
Oh, its a dream.
Kevin looks at himself.
He is just the right size(合適的尺寸).
Kevin goes into his mothers arms.
In the afternoon, he has great fun with his mother in the play field.
