My view on virtual assistants
As online-learning develops by leaps and bounds, virtual assistants gain increasing popularity among students. With their help, students will be able to update themselves with abundant knowledge.
For me, I am positive about virtual assistants for the following reasons. First, students can benefit more from personalized assistance provided by data-driven virtual assistants. Second, students find it more convenient to take online courses held by virtual assistants. Last, AI courses cost students much less. However, students are supposed to enhance their self-discipline when taking this kind of course due to the lack of face-to-face monitoring.

Dear Allen,
Hearing that you take a great interest in the Chinese calligraphy course, I am more than happy to share with you its relevant information.
It is a well-known fact that Chinese calligraphy symbolizes traditional Chinese culture. Usually it requires a brush, paper and ink for one to practice calligraphy. It is expected that this course can not only enhance your aesthetic feelings but also cultivate your character, such as patience and concentration. As for beginners like you, it is recommended that you start off by practicing Kaishu because it preserves the essential characteristics of Chinese calligraphy.
Hope you may find my information useful. Looking forward to your reply.
Yours,
Li Hua

語言運用
This is a funny story. Last week, finding the flight back home was cancelled, the author and his wife acted kindly instead of panicking and complaining.Listening to the security officer Raul's story, they were guided to the airport check-in desk where a lady was taking care of the flight cancellation complaint. Then, the nice and compassionate talk with the lady at the desk allowed them to return home in time in the end.
Paragraph 1:
“Coach, please let me play,” said the young man. The coach and his players were shocked at what the young man said. The coach didn't agree at once. He didn't want his “worst” player to play in such an important game, especially at such a critical moment. But the young man persisted, and finally feeling sorry for the young man, the coach gave in. “All right,”he said,“you can go in.” Before long, the coach, the players and everyone in the stands could not believe their eyes. This little unknown, who had never played before, was doing everything right in the field.
Paragraph 2:
The opposing team could not stop him and the score was soon tied. He ran, passed, blocked and tackled like a star. In the closing seconds of the game, this young man intercepted a pass and ran all the way for the winning touchdown! His teammates raised him onto their shoulders. The audience cheered for him. With tears and excitement, the young man ran to his father and tightly hugged him, saying“Daddy, thanks for your encouragement and you are right. As long as I stick to my dream, it will come true some day.”
Paragraph 1:
He felt the breeze against his face and woke up from the dream. He quickly jumped up, pulling on his overcoat as he hurried home. As he ran, faster and harder, he could feel the air getting cooler and his heart thumping inside his chest until at last he reached the doorway. He hesitated for a moment before he stepped in. “So selfish was I that I have never taken other people's feelings into account,” he thought to himself. Then came the tramp of shoes on the path ahead. Raising his head, he found his father was heading to him, smiling warmly.
Paragraph 2:
His father led him to the study and gave him the book. “Open it, young man,”his father said calmly. An urgent voice came from the bottom of his heart, “Sorry,Dad. I was wrong.” But he was too choked with emotion to speak. With tears of guilt,he opened it and began to turn the pages. As he was reading, a car key dropped from the book. It was just the key of the car he had long desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation and some words, reading “Father's deep love for you”. He lowered his head in shame when his father patted him on the shoulder, saying “I love you more than anything else in the world.” Afterwards, the book seemed to glow in the dark.

Dear Brown,
I'm sorry to learn that you have been suffering from headaches, which prevent you from performing well in your work.Worse still, you haven't got better after taking medicine.
From my perspective, I suggest you try traditional Chinese medicine, which produces fewer side effects. If time permits, patients can recover completely. In addition, traditional Chinese medicine is less expensive, so you don't need to worry about your budget. I believe the treatment appeals greatly to you.
I hope you will recover soon. If there is anything you need me to do, don't hesitate to let me know.
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua

Dear Headmaster,
We have been asked about our opinions on opening smart classrooms. I am in favor of this plan for the following reasons.
To begin with, everyone learns differently. Students can customize their own materials that fit their level and learning style. Moreover, when connected to the Internet, students can interact with teachers and classmates about what they learn more conveniently. Most importantly, opening smart classrooms is a good way to save trees that we have been cutting down for paper.
I hope you would take my ideas into consideration and we look forward to attending a smart class.
Yours sincerely,
Li Hua

Then, she told me something more I hadn't known before. She was also a new student at that time. Because of language barriers, shyness and difficulties in study, she had to put up with great pressure. At that noon when I met her, getting the worst exam score in her class, she was laughed at by her classmates. She felt lonely and hopeless until I approached her warmly. From then on, we two often learned together and shared happiness and sorrow.Paragraph 2:
Both of us gained a lot from the incident. She said that it was my company and encouragement that not only made her happy, but also improved her confidence. For me, it was her sincerity that helped me adapt to a new life. I am really grateful to know the girl grows up healthily. It shows that a simple kind act has the extraordinary ability to change one's life.
