Traditional tea processing techniques and their associated social practices in China were added to UNESCOs Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2022.

“Stove-boiled tea”， a new way of drinking tea， has become popular in China. The process of drinking tea has a sense of ritual， and the ceremony has become a new favorite of young people.

Usually， the process of boiling tea on a stove consists of lightly roasting tea leaves before brewing them， sometimes with rosebuds or sweet osmanthus， in a pot over a charcoal-filled stove. Boiling tea is a time-consuming process that requires constant attention to the temperature in order to properly “cook” it.

2022年，“中國傳統(tǒng)制茶技藝及其相關(guān)習(xí)俗”被列入聯(lián)合國教科文組織人類非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)代表作名錄。

作為新式的茶文化體驗，“圍爐煮茶”在中國逐漸流行起來?！皣鸂t煮茶”的過程別具儀式感，這一喝茶方式很快成為年輕人的新寵。

通常來說，在火爐上煮茶的過程是，在煮茶之前，先稍微烘烤一下茶葉，然后把茶葉（有時會同玫瑰花蕾或桂花一起）放在炭爐上的茶壺里煮。煮茶的過程很耗時，需要持續(xù)地關(guān)注溫度，以便正確地煮茶。
