一說到夸人“聰明”，許多同學便脫口而出\"You are very clever”。事實上，在英語中，除了 clever外，還有其他詞也蘊含“聰明”之意。對此，筆者歸納了“聰明”的多種英語表達，幫助大家開闊視野。

一、Wise

Wise，意為“聰明的、英明的、博學的的、充滿智慧的”，常見的俚語是“as wise as anowl”，多用來形容人很睿智，非常聰明。如：

My mother is as wise as an owl.Sways gives me some special good advice.

我的母親非常聰明。她總是給我提出一些特別好的建議。

He is a very brave and wise leader.

他是一位非常勇敢而英明的領袖。

Clearly， it was a very wise decision.

顯然，這是一個明智的決定。

二、Smart

Smart，意為“聰穎的，機靈的，精明的”。如：

Many scientists believe that the dolphin is a very smart animal．

三、Bright
