今年68歲的耿愛民，是濱州市農(nóng)業(yè)科學院退休的小麥栽培與育種專家，已從事農(nóng)業(yè)科研45載。2017年退休后，他回到老家淄博市高青縣蘆湖街道菜園村，在當?shù)卣畮椭?，流轉黃河灘區(qū)土地400多畝，依托淄博愛民種業(yè)有限公司建起彩色小麥種質試驗基地，專心耕耘他心中的“藍”色田園夢想。

耿愛民與小麥的淵源深厚，早在 2015年，他就在老家整合兩個院落，騰出350平方米土地，分兩個部分進行小麥育種試驗。而今，在黃河灘區(qū)愛民種業(yè)公司400多畝的小麥育種試驗田里，耿愛民更是精心將其規(guī)劃為三個區(qū)塊：穗行穗系試驗區(qū)、優(yōu)系繁育區(qū)和藍麥育種試驗區(qū)。這些區(qū)塊共同支撐著他的育種事業(yè)，使他能夠對常規(guī)品種進行大規(guī)模穗行提純復壯原種，并選育新的藍麥品種。

為了提高育種效率，耿愛民自主研發(fā)了“小麥穗行播種機”及其排種盤，并獲得了國家實用新型專利授權。此外，他還提出了小麥高低畦栽培技術，提高了土地、水分和光能的利用率，并研制了配套的“整畦施肥播種鎮(zhèn)壓一體機”，同樣獲得了國家實用新型專利授權。2020年8月，耿愛民榮獲“山東十佳三農(nóng)人物”稱號。

耿愛民培育的“愛民藍麥1號”，2020年正式通過山東省品種審定，最新育成的“愛民藍麥早”在試驗中表現(xiàn)突出。對小麥“藍矮敗”不育系的研究更是令人矚目，近年來，耿愛民在該領域申報了18項國家發(fā)明專利，其中7項已獲授權。利用“藍矮敗”不僅可以生成小麥雜交種，還能把任一小麥品種轉育成對應的藍小麥品種。

耿愛民從小在黃河岸邊長大，對黃河有著特殊的情感。平日里他總喜歡在黃河灘上走走，看看奔流的黃河，看看試驗田里小麥的長勢。糧食安全、主食養(yǎng)生，鄉(xiāng)親們的糧食打了多少，總是他的念想。在鄉(xiāng)親們眼里，耿愛民不像個農(nóng)業(yè)專家，而像個地地道道的農(nóng)民。對于大家請教的麥田管理問題，耿愛民都耐心去解答。

如今，雖已年近古稀，耿愛民的心中卻依然充滿了激情和夢想。他計劃加快藍小麥育種研究，著重改進藍麥種子品質；擴大藍麥面粉生產(chǎn)規(guī)模，形成完整的藍色小麥產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈。同時，他希望能選育更多的小麥新品種，為家鄉(xiāng)父老提供更多優(yōu)質糧食，助力國家糧食安全。

Geng Aimin Pursues a Lanmai Dream on Yellow River Beach

Geng Aimin， 68 years old， a retired wheat breeding expert at the Binzhou Branch， Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences， has been engaged in agricultural scientific research for 45 years. After retirement， he returned to Caiyuan Village， Luhu Sub-district， Gaoqing County， Zibo， pursuing his Lanmai （blue-grained wheat） dream. In 2015， he conducted wheat breeding experiments in his hometown， cultivated “Aimin Lanmai No. 1” which passed the validation， and made significant progress in “Aimin Lanmaizao”. Utilizing the resource of “blue dwarf male-sterile wheat”， he has achieved a number of research results， and applied for 18 national invention patents， seven of which have been granted.

Geng Aimin has independently developed a “wheat ear-torow planter” and a planter plate， proposed the technology of wheat cultivation in high-and-low border， and has been granted a number of national utility model patents. In 2020， he won the title of one of the “Top 10 Figures in Agriculture， Rural Areas and Farmers at the Seventh Session”. He planted three plots in 26.67 hectares of wheat breeding experiment fields to support the breeding undertaking. Geng Aimin loves the Yellow River， likes to communicate with villagers， and always patiently answers questions about wheat field management. Approaching the age of 70， he is still full of passion and dreams， and plans to accelerate his research on blue-grained wheat breeding， to expand the production scale of Lanmai flour， and to cultivate more new wheat varieties， with an aim of contributing to national food security， and providing more high-quality grain varieties for fellow locals.
