9月13日晚，重慶市政府外事僑務(wù)辦公室、渝中區(qū)人民政府共同于湖廣會館舉行2013駐渝領(lǐng)事機構(gòu)中秋聯(lián)誼會。來自英國、加拿大、匈牙利、丹麥、日本、埃塞俄比亞、柬埔寨、菲律賓等國駐渝（總）領(lǐng)事館人士應(yīng)邀出席聯(lián)誼會，重慶市副市長劉強出席聯(lián)誼會并致辭，重慶市外僑辦主任朱晞顏、渝中區(qū)區(qū)委書記唐英瑜、區(qū)長扈萬泰等參加聯(lián)誼會。

駐渝領(lǐng)事機構(gòu)聯(lián)誼會在每年中秋節(jié)期間舉辦，通過展示傳統(tǒng)工藝、民樂及節(jié)日風(fēng)俗等，讓在渝外籍人士了解中國傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日和民俗風(fēng)情，了解巴渝風(fēng)貌和巴渝風(fēng)情，促進雙方互通互信，增強彼此的友誼。

駐渝領(lǐng)事機構(gòu)代表、英國駐渝總領(lǐng)事館總領(lǐng)事李賽在聯(lián)誼會上致辭時說，駐渝領(lǐng)事機構(gòu)見證了山城重慶發(fā)生的巨大變化和取得的可喜成績，對重慶的未來發(fā)展充滿信心。

在聯(lián)誼會上，為了讓外賓更多了解中國文化，重慶書法家現(xiàn)場進行了書法展示，并將作品贈送給在場觀眾。民樂演奏、歌舞表演、榮昌夏布時裝秀等有著濃郁中國風(fēng)、重慶味的節(jié)目，贏得了外賓們的陣陣喝彩。在餐會表演環(huán)節(jié)，駐渝領(lǐng)事機構(gòu)工作人員也現(xiàn)場秀起了拿手的節(jié)目，聯(lián)誼會高潮迭起，掌聲笑聲不斷。

Consular Organization in Chongqing Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival

In the evening of September 13, Chongqing Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, people's Government of Yuzhong District held 2013 consular fellowship of the Mid-Autumn Festival socialgathering at Hunan and Guangdong gild hall in Chongqing. Guests who are from the United Kingdom, Canada,Hungary, Denmark, Japan, Ethiopia, Cambodia, the Philippines and consulates of these countries in Chongqing attended the fellowship, Vice Mayor of Chongqing Liu Qiang attended the fellowship and gave a speech,Director of Chongqing Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office Zhu Xiyan, Party Secretary of Yuzhong District Tang Yingyu, Chief of Yuzhong District Hu Wantai participated in this activity.

Consular Associations’ in Chongqing Mid-Autumn Festival social gathering is held each year for foreigners in Chongqing to understand traditional Chinese festivals and folk customs, learn about Bayu scenery and Bayu-style, promoting exchange and mutual trust, enhance mutual friendship by demonstrating traditional crafts, folk music and festivals, customs.

The representative of consular organization in Chongqing, Mr. Simon Lever,General Consulate of the United Kingdom in Chongqing spoke at the meeting, consular organization in Chongqing has witnessed the changes in Chongqing and made remarkable achievements, we are full of confidence for the future development of Chongqing.

In order to let audiences know more about Chinese culture, Chongqing calligraphers did calligraphy show and gave their works as presents to the audiences. Folk music, song and dance performances, Rongchang cloth fashion show which have rich Chongqing flavor were performed to the foreign guests and won bursts of applause.
