By The Script

愛爾蘭搖滾近年聲勢(shì)比較弱，U2退出錄音室專輯已是幾年前的事，The Cranberries解散、Sinead Oconnor則把音樂轉(zhuǎn)向了靜謐的神學(xué)，老一輩的音樂人似乎都在休養(yǎng)生息當(dāng)中。不過最近幾個(gè)月一支來自都柏林的新鮮血液——The Script重新贏得了大家對(duì)愛爾蘭搖滾的關(guān)注。The Script是一支三人搖滾樂隊(duì)，成員包括主唱Danny ODonoghue、光頭吉他手Mark Sheehan、鼓手Glen Power。但頗令人迷惑的是，單從曲風(fēng)上來說，The Script的音樂聽起來不太像愛爾蘭搖滾，反而美國味更濃一些。原來The Script三位成員的其中兩位，Mark與Danny在青少年時(shí)期就在都柏林的詹姆士街區(qū)相識(shí)，兩人均對(duì)美國黑人音樂情有獨(dú)鐘。因此，除了保留愛爾蘭原有的搖滾風(fēng)格，The Script更結(jié)合黑人音樂風(fēng)格，強(qiáng)勢(shì)力拼當(dāng)紅樂隊(duì)Maroon5。
