教學(xué)案例:At a party
教學(xué)背景介紹:這是區(qū)級(jí)三校教學(xué)研討會(huì)上執(zhí)教的公開(kāi)課,本次活動(dòng)探討的主題是“Story time板塊語(yǔ)篇有效教學(xué)”。
教材版本:譯林版《牛津小學(xué)英語(yǔ)》
教學(xué)內(nèi)容:6B Unit 5 A party(story time)
本單元的話題是兒童節(jié)聚會(huì),旨在讓學(xué)生了解參加聚會(huì)要做的一些準(zhǔn)備工作及應(yīng)注意的社交禮儀。該課時(shí)分為兩個(gè)板塊,第一板塊是Party前的準(zhǔn)備工作,以第三人稱(chēng)的敘述方式表達(dá),第二板塊是Party當(dāng)天的情況,以旁白和人物對(duì)話的形式展現(xiàn),這是這一語(yǔ)篇的特點(diǎn)。
課型:語(yǔ)篇教學(xué)
教學(xué)目標(biāo):
1.能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì)說(shuō)、會(huì)讀和會(huì)拼寫(xiě)單詞clown,appear。
2.能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì)說(shuō)、會(huì)讀和會(huì)拼寫(xiě)句型:What are you going to bring to the party?I’m going to bring some toys.Are we going to eat or play with the toys first?
3.通過(guò)課文重點(diǎn)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)點(diǎn)的學(xué)習(xí),能理解課文內(nèi)容,自然流暢地給課文內(nèi)容配音,進(jìn)行表演。
4.了解Party的相關(guān)文化,知道Party的基本禮儀。
教學(xué)重點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn):
1.整體感知和理解A板塊課文。
2.將兩個(gè)板塊不同形式的語(yǔ)篇進(jìn)行改編,嘗試復(fù)述和表演。
教學(xué)過(guò)程:
課前播放歌曲“Party time”。
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:心理學(xué)家指出,學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī)和求知欲能否自然而然地涌現(xiàn),很大程度上取決于教師所創(chuàng)設(shè)的教學(xué)情境。該英語(yǔ)歌曲的播放,既可以營(yíng)造寬松的學(xué)習(xí)氛圍,又可以吸引學(xué)生的注意力。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過(guò)演唱歌曲,共同進(jìn)入歡快的童話世界。讓學(xué)生帶著疑問(wèn),有目的地去聽(tīng),可以喚起對(duì)舊知“What are you going to do?”的記憶。同時(shí)引入話題a party,為下文的閱讀教學(xué)做好鋪墊。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:語(yǔ)篇中色彩豐富的插圖是一種隱性信息,是教學(xué)過(guò)程中不可忽視的寶貴資源。
六年級(jí)學(xué)生已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)三年多的英語(yǔ),可以通過(guò)已有知識(shí)對(duì)插圖發(fā)揮想象,進(jìn)行猜測(cè)。這樣做,還有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的求知欲和好奇心。在猜測(cè)的基礎(chǔ)上,教師總結(jié)四個(gè)問(wèn)題,讓學(xué)生觀看動(dòng)畫(huà),回答其中三個(gè)。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:閱讀中的教學(xué)活動(dòng)是閱讀教學(xué)的中心環(huán)節(jié)。該環(huán)節(jié)教師結(jié)合教材內(nèi)容,根據(jù)學(xué)生的興趣點(diǎn)、教學(xué)內(nèi)容的重難點(diǎn)及思維的發(fā)展點(diǎn)設(shè)計(jì)了一系列的問(wèn)題,通過(guò)1.Watch and answer;2.Read and circle;3.Look and say;4.Read and find等方式,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生有序地猜測(cè)、聽(tīng)說(shuō),有助于幫助學(xué)生整體感知語(yǔ)篇,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力。
5.Think and say情感教育

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的同時(shí),還應(yīng)該了解語(yǔ)言所承載的豐富的文化內(nèi)涵,文化小貼士(見(jiàn)圖6)讓學(xué)生明白,一切活動(dòng)都必須做好準(zhǔn)備。

6.Read after the computer
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:在具體分析語(yǔ)篇內(nèi)容后,此時(shí)的聽(tīng)錄音跟讀課文是帶著學(xué)生再次整體學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)篇,有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語(yǔ)感,為接下來(lái)的復(fù)述課文做準(zhǔn)備。
7.Try to retell
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:復(fù)述是一種比較具有挑戰(zhàn)性的口語(yǔ)練習(xí)活動(dòng),這個(gè)語(yǔ)篇復(fù)述的難點(diǎn)就是對(duì)話板塊。思維導(dǎo)圖板書(shū)可以使學(xué)生有綱可循,有詞可用,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的想象力和語(yǔ)言組織能力。
8.Try to act
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:此次語(yǔ)篇比較具有挑戰(zhàn)性,要求學(xué)生將第一板塊的文本進(jìn)行人稱(chēng)的轉(zhuǎn)換,并且與后面的板塊整合,形成一篇完整的情景對(duì)話(見(jiàn)圖7),這是有一定難度的。通過(guò)這種訓(xùn)練,可以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力。

Step 3 Post—reading
Prepare for our party
T:As you know,we are going to leave our primary school,and we are going to have a party.
Let’s prepare for our own party(見(jiàn)圖8),now talk about your party in groups.Please no chatting and don’t speak Chinese,and try to use these sentences to talk about your party.Then make your group’s invitation,got it?

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:教師鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生利用即將到來(lái)的兒童節(jié)這一話題,小組合作討論P(yáng)arty的時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)及準(zhǔn)備工作等一些基本信息,并匯報(bào)展示。這樣的拓展活動(dòng)把文本活化為生活中的真實(shí)語(yǔ)言,將生活融入學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)中,使學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的過(guò)程成為體驗(yàn)生活的過(guò)程。

T:Ask others about their invitations.(老師運(yùn)用提供的句型再次進(jìn)行提問(wèn),讓所有的學(xué)生參與課堂)
Step 4 Homework
1.聽(tīng)錄音,跟讀課文。
2.填寫(xiě)完整的party邀請(qǐng)卡,準(zhǔn)備開(kāi)展party。
