百萬年的阿拉伯文物之路

從20世紀(jì)60年代開始,沙特王國在阿拉伯半島開展了廣泛的考古調(diào)查和發(fā)掘工作。在考古學(xué)家們的努力之下,一批批重要的考古發(fā)現(xiàn)從沙漠荒丘中揭示出來,一件件珍貴的古代遺產(chǎn)得以重見天日。由中國國家文物局、中國國家博物館和沙特旅游與民族遺產(chǎn)總機構(gòu)共同主辦,中國文物交流中心承辦的“阿拉伯之路——沙特出土文物”展覽從即日起至3月19日在中國國家博物館展出,匯聚沙特阿拉伯王國博物館珍藏的出土文物466件(組),對迄今發(fā)現(xiàn)的沙特境內(nèi)的古代考古學(xué)文化進行了全景式的展示和呈現(xiàn)。
The“Roads of Arabia”Antique Exhibition Came on Display
Since the 1960s, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has conducted extensive archaeological investigation and excavation. Thanks to the archaeologists’ efforts, there came significant discoveries and precious excavations. From December 20, 2016 till March 19, 2017, the exhibition of “Roads of Arabia: Archaeological Treasure of Saudi Arabia” was on display at the National Museum of China. The Sponsors included Chinese State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the National Museum of China and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. The exhibition featured 466 items/sets of antique treasures from various museums of Saudi Arabia, offering a panorama view of archaeological and cultural discoveries within the domain of Saudi Arabia.
