有益的錯誤

It's good to make mistake， and here's why.

犯錯是大有裨益的，原因有以下幾點：

First of all， mistakes are a clear sign that you are trying new things. It's always good to try new things because when you are trying new things you are growing. If you never try anything new， how can you improve？ How can you expand？ How can you innovate？ The simple answer is， "You can't" Look around you. With very few exceptions， either everything you see in your physical world or every single detail of single thing is the result of someone trying something new.

首先，錯誤清楚地表明你正在嘗試新事物。嘗試新事物總是好的，因為你會在這一過程中不斷成長。如果從不嘗試任何新事物，你怎么能進(jìn)步？如何能發(fā)展？又何以創(chuàng)新？答案很簡單：“你不能。”看看周遭，幾乎無一例外，你在客觀世界看到的每一件事，或是每一件事的每一個細(xì)節(jié)都是有人在嘗試新事物的結(jié)果。

Another good thing about mistakes is this： when you are making mistakes， you are learning. Consider this： Edison failed 10000 times before he perfected the light bulb. When asked how it felt to fail that many times， he remarked that he hadn't failed 10000 times， but rather had learned 10000 things that didn't work.

犯錯的另一個好處是：犯錯的過程也正是你學(xué)習(xí)的過程。想想看，愛迪生在改進(jìn)電燈泡前失敗一萬次。當(dāng)被問到失敗那么多次，感覺如何時，愛迪生說自己并沒有失敗一萬次，而是獲知了一萬個并不湊效的事物。

Finally， when you make a mistake you are that much closer to success. Why？

最后一點，犯錯之時正是你更為接近成功之日。這是為什么呢？

Because when all is said and done， you will have tried some finite number of things before you succeeded. Every time you made a mistake you eliminated one of those things and are one step closer.

因為在成功前，當(dāng)該說的說了，該做的做了，你所要的進(jìn)行的嘗試是有限的。每犯一次錯誤，那些所要做的嘗試就會減少一個，從而你離成功就更近一步。

But this all doesn't mean that you should forge ahead with disregard for the consequences of a mistake. Quite the contrary， when you try something new you have to be willing to set some reasonable limits so that， in the event that it doesn't work out the way you want it to， you will be in a position to try again.

但所有這些并不意味著你就該一個勁地往前沖，而不用考慮每一個錯誤的后果。恰恰相反，在嘗試新事物時，你得主動設(shè)定一些合理的限度，以便當(dāng)事態(tài)不盡如人意時，你能夠再試一次。

We all have limited resources in the form of time and money so don't blow them all on one approach to a problem. Realize that it probably won't be perfect the first time and allocate these resources appropriately so you can learn， modify， and try it again. Only by embracing and using your mistakes in this way can you make significant advances in your business and your career.

在時間和金錢方面，我們的資源都是有限的，所以不要在一棵樹上吊死，不要把所有的時間和金錢都投入到一個問題的解決途徑上。要明白，第一次可能不會盡善盡美，要合理分配這些資源，這樣你就能夠?qū)W習(xí)、改進(jìn)，并再次嘗試。只有以這種方式欣然接受并利用你的錯誤，你才能業(yè)務(wù)和事業(yè)上取得重大進(jìn)步。

There is an old axiom that goes， "If you're not making mistakes， you're not trying hard enough."

有句古語說道：“如果你沒犯錯誤，就說明你沒有盡力?！?/p>

So go forth and make mistakes. And learn. And grow. And prosper.

所以，勇往直前，去犯錯誤吧。然后學(xué)習(xí)、成長，最后成功。
